A short tutorial introducing copying and moving content in Blackboard Learn 9.1. This tutorial is part of initial VLE training for colleagues at the University of Leeds.

2. In this tutorial we are
going to explore
copying and moving
content.

3. Make sure
Edit Mode is
ON.

4. Enter a Content
Area e.g.
Learning
Resources and
find the content
or folder you wish
to copy or move.

5. Hovering the
mouse over
the item to be
copied or
moved reveals
the Action Link
arrowhead
and clicking on
it reveals the
copy and
move options.

6. In this example the
Lecture 1 slides are
going to be moved.
Destination Module
includes a list of all
modules and
organisations you have
instructor access to.

7. Browse to the
Destination
Folder.

8. Select the
folder the item
will be moved
into. In this
example,
week 1 folder.

9. Check the
destination is
correct and
select Submit.

10. The lecture
notes have
now been
moved into the
week 1 folder.

11. The lecture
notes have
now been
moved into the
week 1 folder.

12. Inside the week 1 folder.
The process for copying content is
very similar – complete the copy
form by choosing the copy
destination and submit.
