Whether it’s for: support, second opinion,
tips...
Via text, phone, e-mail and Skype
My experience / expertise and guidance
(lecturing).
As well as proof reading, preparation and
advice about organisation; I also offer revision
techniques.
Tailoring your personal interests to key areas,
therefore keeping you focused, engrossed and
ultimately better informed. Hence - better grades
overall!
Aiding you and even setting tasks, e.g. reading or
writing a short piece of work. At your request of course
School work is priority...and I know you
already have a lot on
• 20 minutes presentation
• Few minutes going over anything (25
minutes) and exercises, e.g. writing...
• Last few minutes – any questions?
(15 minutes)
The Five Es
• Enthusiasm
• Expertise
• Empathy
• Empowerment
• Enterprise symbiotic
George Orwell’s
Writing Tips
• "Probably it is better to put off using words
as long as possible and get one's meanings as
clear as one can through pictures or
sensations." Meaning = plan before you
write!
G. Orwell Continued...
• Orwell's English Language Rules:
• "i. Never use a metaphor, simile or other
figure of speech which you are used to seeing
in print.
• ii. Never use a long word where a short one
will do.
• iii. If it is possible to cut a word out, always
cut it out...
• One or two students are easier
to maintain
• I’m affordable
• I’ve been through the
process myself (invaluable)
• Well spoken, qualified,
dedicated and resourceful
...(channels of communication...
• I am approachable (there are no daft
questions here)
• I probably have more time than your
teacher (even if they do know best)
• My sole focus is YOU
• Complimenting your teacher’s guidance
Any Questions?
