Editor's Notes

  • #3 100% dedicated to helping your business delivering true return on investment via IBM Maximo with award winning consulting services, award-winning mobile implementations, industry best practices, managed services, hosting, and 24x7x365 live support Proud to say we have been in the Maximo business for over 12 years now, supporting clients in both services engagements as well as mobile solutions We offer premium support options for our services and software customers that is 24x7x365, covering both Maximo and Informer, as well as hosted or SaaS solutions. We also have managed services programs for either hosted or on-premise customers as well.
  • #5  We establish, “Why are you doing this?” We then lead into the need for clearly specifying what they are going to do and what they are not going to do. This isn’t just a random selection of “good enough”. Who is going to use this, need a target audience. Different people are going to have different needs. If it takes too many people to manage, then good luck actually using it If no one uses it, well then what is the point of doing it.
  • #6 Tie Informer to the function and technical considerations and how Informer meets those and how it was designed specifically with those things in mind.
  • #8  RSA / PIVCAC, LDAP, SSL / TLS, Firewall transversal, encryption, on device restrictions (whitelist APs, geofence device, etc), doesn’t drop ball along the way i.e. RMI. If scaling requires weird configurations or non-standard set up it isn’t really scalable. If the operation of the system is completely opaque and you can’t tell what is going on troubleshooting is unstainable. Use this to talk about Informer simplicity, there is only the device and Maximo in the mix. Can use industry solutions. Add-ons, customizations, etc.
