3. My results
For linguistics I have a rather low score close to 10, for logic I have a high score of
20, and for visual/spatial, I received a high score of a little less than 20. This
represents me because I am not a word person. I learn better with a picture and
numbers. For example, if someone had told me that New York has a large
population, I would understand words but to better understand it, if someone gave
me a number around 8.5 million that would help me better understand it. Also, if I
actually saw New York during the busiest times or even a picture of it, that would
also help my brain click to the large amount of people. I am surprised that I am
musically active because I have a score close to 15. And to me that is rather high.
Yes, I like music and it helps me and if I hear music I like I can relate to it and I
instantly know the song, genre, and author. But for old music as well as instruments,
I do not know very much of. I get bored of them, even though that is where music
today comes from. I also find it interesting that I have a high result in naturalistic. I
do not like nature, but I love animals. For kinesthetic, I have a score of 15. This is
accurate because I can tell what others are like or feel from the body language. I
also have a high result in intrapersonal and interpersonal. I know myself very well
after being myself for the past 18 plus years. I also get along with other very well.
The reason why my results for interpersonal is a little higher than intrapersonal may
be because I work better with others than by myself and it helps me learn more
because I have others there to help me if I am wrong.
4. Logical
Memory is one of my favorite topics
discussed in this class. A logical
intelligence example we could have
used to better understand this unit is
by relating to memory by age.
For childhood development, we could
have looked at younger aged children
and compare the ages at which they
develop.
For psychological disorders, we could
use age as a way to find out when
people get these disorders and why.
We would hands on ask people
diagnosed with disorders and ask
when they have and if not we could
have talked to their family.
5. Interpersonal
Another one of my favorite topics
discussed is developmental
psychology. For this unit, we could
have used hands on activity with
others by visiting a day-care to better
understand the information.
For memory, we could have discussed
memories we have of our childhood
and why those memories stick to. This
would be interpersonal because you
are talking about it with others and
learning more about each other.
For psychological disorders, we could
have talked to people who have
certain psychological disorders and see
how they interact and view the world.
6. Naturalistic
For memory, we could have
learned about memories of
animals and researched if there
memory works similar to ours.
For development, we could have
gone to an animal research facility
and seen how animals develop
and how that differs to the
development of humans.
For psychological disorders, we
could have researched about
animals and if they have
psychological disorders as well
and if they are similar to or differ
from that of humans.
