 My musical intelligence is my highest scoring area, because I
have been playing the flute now for 7 years and I am also
learning the piccolo. My ears are accustomed to listening to
music everyday in band, and I also enjoy singing in events
when I get the opportunity. Music truly has the power to uplift
my mood, and it has the amazing capacity to induce a plethora
of wonderful emotions. My Intrapersonal and logical
intelligence are approximately the same, and this is also quite
true in my life. I believe I know myself really well, and I
usually make decisions which I’m sure are right for me, not
because of another’s opinions. Numbers have always come
naturally to me, and I participate in activities such as Math
Team and Trig Star. My Naturalistic intelligence is my lowest
area, because I usually do not enjoy spending large amounts of
time outside. While I do enjoy watching nature, I believe it is
more comfortable to watch such scenery from a more
sheltered location. My knowledge in birds, nature, and animals
    is quite weak.
 My strongest intelligence lies in the field of music, and I have acquired a
keen ear over the past seven years of learning to play flute. I recognize
rhythms and patterns in songs, and I am able to distinguish certain
instruments from each other as every sound blends together to make one
unique harmony. Usually when I listen to a song once or twice, I can
remember most of the lyrics and entrances of certain beats.
 Activity: In the unit named “Memory”, create a song which incorporates
all 22 of the major vocabulary terms. You may utilize free-style, opera,
jazz – any genre of music which appeals to you. Be creative and make
sure that the lyrics make proper sense (and include the meanings of the
    terms).
 This activity would be very beneficial to me since it is quite easy for me
to recall songs, and the specific lyrics they contain. In this case, the lyrics
contain very important course material, which would aid in my studying.
 My second strongest intelligence lies in the field of intrapersonal
intelligence. For this, self-realization and a certain level of introspection
are required. Before I make any major decisions, I always run through
every possible consequence in my head. I am known to over-think and
analyze my decisions, as I want to make sure every action will be
beneficial in the long-run. I think understanding yourself is key,
especially as a senior in high school about to go to college.
 Activity: In the States of Consciousness Unit, keep a log book of every
memory you have for 20 consecutive days. Every morning, as soon as
you wake up, write in this book what dream you can remember and what
could be the inner significance of those dreams. Try to probe into
symbols and allegories to your actual life.
 I think this activity would be really helpful since it would allow me to
self-study and introspect within myself. Dreams can be extremely
significant in telling one about oneself. Thus, I think having to analyze
my dreams for a quite lengthy period of time will really allow me to
probe into my inner thoughts and feelings.
 My third strongest intelligence lies in the field of logical intelligence.
This intelligence most closely pertains to science and math, as well as
reasoning/analyzing of problems. Having this intelligence indicates that I
am adept at solving mathematical problems and problem-solving in my
life. This is actually quite true – math is one of my favorite subjects, and I
actually jumped a year ahead in math Also, problem-solving is crucial in
the research work I’ve done. Many times, you have to pinpoint and
modulate certain reagents to attain successful results.
 Activity: In the Nature and Nurture unit, instead of the family tree you
created in text, construct a life-size tree and use string and tacks to
“pinpoint” where you acquired certain characteristics. Distinguish genetic
similarities and behavioral ones through different colors.
 This activity would be really useful since it requires me to problem-solve
and figure out where I acquired certain characteristics from my family
tree. It is up to the student to figure out how all the family members are
interlinked. This assignment also incorporates scientific knowledge since
I have to know what type of traits are inherited genetically.
