Jamal Edwards started SB.TV in 2007 by uploading videos he filmed of random things and local rappers to YouTube. It grew popular for documenting the UK grime music scene. SB.TV now has over 100,000 subscribers and 1,000 videos, and interviews major artists from various genres. Edwards signed a deal with Sony RCA and plans to expand SB.TV to the US. SB.TV has helped launch careers like Ed Sheeran and Maxsta by giving them exposure through their online platform.
