As far as grassroots innovators are concerns they do have knowledge abundance, and some want to use this knowledge to try things out. ÁLVARO TEÓFILO
He has worked in the Brazilian financial market in the last 20 years in
leading positions of Cyber Security and Fraud Prevention. Acted as
Business Information Security Officer of Citigroup Brasil, CSO of Caixa
Seguradora and Grupo Santander and Superintendent of Security and
Fraud in Banco Original. He is currently Director of Digital Identity
Solutions at Tempest Security Intelligence, one of the references in cyber
security in Brazil. He studied Innovation at Harvard Business School and
graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in the Global Leadership
course at Cyber Security.
ANA GUERRINI
Master in Latin American Studies at the University of Oxford and PhD in
Information and Knowledge Society at the Universitat Oberta de
Catalunya. Experienced in urban planning and democratic and effective
public policies management, using participatory processes, transparency
and technology and data. Today she is Head of Public Policy and
Research at 99 and works with governmental organizations, civil society
and academia in initiatives to transform urban mobility.
9. FERNANDA CAMPAGNUCCI
She is a journalist and master in education from the University of São
Paulo (USP). She is an analyst of public policies and governmental
management at São Paulo City Hall, with projects on transparency, public
integrity and civic technologies since 2013. She coordinates "Pátio Digital",
an open government initiative of the Municipal Department of Education.
She is an Open Government Fellow of the Organization of American States
and a member of Open Data Institute’s Open Data Leaders Network.
Enthusiast of free and open source technologies and diversity in the world
of technology.

projects to Santander Bank, Grupo Pão de Açucar, Natura, Nestlé,
Heineken and Brasil Kirin. Founded so+ma in January 2015. In 2017 was
recognized as the professional who best represented ODS 12 (responsible
consumption and production) of the UN agenda for 2030 with the Abraps
Award and “Virada Sustentável.
10. RICARDO ABRAMOVAY
Ricardo Abramovay is a Senior Professor in the Environmental Science
Program at IEE/USP. He joined the Department of Economics at FEA/USP in
1983, where he was a Full Professor since 2001. He is the author of
"Paradigms of Agrarian Capitalism in Question" (ANPOCS Prize), Far Beyond
the Green Economy and co-author of Zero Garbage - Management of Solid
Waste for a more Prosperous Society (Sustainable Planet), among other
books. He is currently working on the relationship between sustainable
development and the digital revolution.

to run for elections). Partner of Bitex.la, a leading bitcoin fintech company
in Latin America. Published 'Hacktivismo' in 2015 with Random House. Co-
founded Argentine Game Developers Association. World Economic Forum
member. In 2007 founded Popego, a pioneer big data lab bought by boo-
box (Brasil) in 2011. Was a founder member of Three Melons (bought by
