 Kevin Systrom
 Graduated from Stanford University in 2006 with a BS in
Management Science & Engineering
 Mike Krieger
 Who also graduated from Stanford University in 2006 where
he studied Symbolic Systems with a focus in Human-
Computer Interaction.

 Instagram was only available on iPhones until April 2012
and is now a powerful tool to share your photos with
friends, family, and the world.
 People with an Instagram account can follow sports
team, sports players, fan clubs, business, and celebrities.
 The app allows you to follow brands and view a feed of
their mobile uploads
 Instagram is available on mobile iPhone and Android
phones only. However if you already have an Instagram
account because of your iPhone or android phone you
can view you “newsfeed” online at instagram.com

because of their passion for photography, obsession

great sense of humor.
 Instagrams second main target is adolescents
because of many reasons, many adolescents tend
to be shy instagram is a way for them to express
themselves in different ways and to display their
