1. MOTIVATION- Communication that motivates or
encourages people to live better. (cheers, quotation,
bible verses, advices)
Ex: -You can do it! Just believe in yourself.
2. INFORMATION DISSEMINATION- is a function
used when we aim to share information data, facts,
announcements, news, information based on the
given evidence.
Ex: -Announcement: There will be a summative
examination next week about the lessons we
discussed for the 1st Quarter.
3. CONTROL/REGULATION- We use this function to
control behaviour (instructions, request,
commands)
Ex: -Go straight ahead and turn right!
4. EMOTIONAL EXPRESSION- Communication
facilitates people’s expression of their feelings and
emotions. (express, accept, deny, affirm)

short play.” Apply what you have learned in today’s

school wherein students are coming from different
places.
GROUP 2: Parents are talking to their children
