This document compares innovation and human development metrics for G20-EU countries. It analyzes the Global Innovation Index (GII) scores and Human Development Index (HDI) scores for 12 G20-EU nations. A new metric called the Innovation on Development Index (IODe) is calculated based on the GII and HDI scores to rank countries based on how innovative their level of human development is. The 12 G20-EU countries are grouped into three categories based on their IODe scores, with the UK having the most innovative human development according to the analysis.

This chart evaluates the
relation between GII and HDI,
ranking the results. The
formula could be summarized
as following: Innovation on
Development (IODe). Each
G20-EU country manages
innovation issues taking in
account or starting from its
own human development. Eg:
whenever UK is ranked only
at the 26th position in terms of
HDI, british skills at
innovating are the higher of
the G20-EU in relation with
the previous data. Then, we
could infer that each "point" of
development is more
"innovative" there, than in
other countries.
