3. Mypresentation
I'm Derwent and this is my presentation of ideas I have for
the tasks that I may have to complete. If there are any
comments please leave them for after the presentation. That's
all I have to say before hand, so let's begin.

4. Idea1
For my first idea I have thought a short film with a
crime/drama theme to it. The film will be about a bicycle
thief who takes a bike from the protagonist, a student at a
school. The story will be about how the student sees the
thief but is unable to stop them. The student will then
investigate and find out why the culprit did it and who they
are. But as a twist the student sees the thief return the
bicycle to the place it was stolen.

Crime dramas must include the following
A location where a crime could be committed easily
A crime or a problem arises that has to be dealt with
A protagonist with a moral sense of right and wrong
A conflict between the protagonist and the antagonist
A successful plan or trap to achieve a good ending
The resolution of the mystery or crime at the end of the
film

6. Idea2For the second idea I have thought about doing a documentary
or a short segment of a documentary. This will be about a
school and how it came to be. The school in question is
landmark international in fulbourn which I helped to
build/create over the summer.this documentary would have me
talking to the staff some of the children some of the
builders and founders of the school.

In a documentary there must be
A voiceover or narration
A sense of realism for relating to
Footage of events and set ups
Archive footage or stills of the subject
Interviews with experts or people on the subject
Use of text and titles for like introducing someone

8. Idea3
For my third option I have thought about doing a trailer for
a film. The film/trailer would be about a boy who finds a dog
on the street or in an abandoned area and he takes it in and
trains it. The dog shows promise and there is no previous
owner found so the boy trains it for a competition.I have to
make this into a trailer

Non diegetic music usually a theme
The film's title may appear and also titles of actors
There could be a montage or a collage of shots that set the
scene
Sometimes there are voice overs or narration
Builds to a climax where it ends
Shows the main characters or events
