This document provides an initial audience research plan for a film about a teenage girl named Amber who hallucinates after taking acid at a party. The film will have scenes of Amber and her friends getting ready, driving to the party, arriving and interacting with drug dealers, and Amber progressively hallucinating more after taking the acid. It will be filmed from Amber's perspective and an omniscient perspective at a 21st century house party using school camera equipment. The target audience is teens and young adults, and the film rating will be 15 due to drug use and horror elements.

Who?
 Female teenage character who hallucinates called Amber who
we will have played by Abbie Wisniewska
 We will also have other characters in our production to play the
drug dealers, other people at the party and the images she
sees when hallucinating

What?
 A group of girls are getting ready for a party
 The girls drive to the party and greet the host and start drinking
 One of the girls in the group start talking to a drug dealer, which leads
our main character, Amber to talk to them too. They then start flirting
with the girls and gets peer pressured into taking acid.
 After she initially takes it, everything is fine for her and she is having
fun.
 She firstly begins to start hearing voices, however the voices and
images that she sees become progressively more aggressive.
 Eventually, she passes out.

Where?
 The first scene will be taking place in someone’s house where
the girls will be getting ready for a party.
 There will then be scenes of the girls getting in to a car, driving
off and arriving at a different house where the party will be set.
 They will then enter the house, where we will be filming
predominately in one room.
 The rest of the scenes will be based in this one room.

When and How?
 It will be set in the 21st century.
 The events occur due to Amber, our main character taking acid
at a party.
 We will film it partly from Amber’s perspective and partly from
an omniscient perspective, watching the events of the party
occurring.
 We will be using the school camera equipment, including a
DSLR camera, tripod, SD card, etc. We will use the tripod when
it is from the omniscient perspective and not using a tripod
when it is from Amber’s perspective to have it feel more
authentic.

Target audience and film rating:
 Film rating: 15 – this is due to the drug use and horror/thriller
elements of the film that may be too scary for younger viewers
to watch
 Our target audience will be predominately teens and young
adults as we believe that they will be able to relate more easily
to the characters.
