Tamanna and Yinka propose a horror short film about a woman who hears the laughter and feels like she is being followed by a young girl on her walk home from work. When she gets home, strange noises lead her to investigate and find a scary masked girl in her bedroom wardrobe who jumps out at her. Their initial ideas were rejected in favor of this final proposal, which takes inspiration from films like The Ring and The Sixth Sense featuring paranormal activity and children. The film will feature Yinka as the main character with a friend playing the ghost girl. The tagline is "No where to run, no where to hide, she's living in the back of your mind". 2. Ideas Rejected
1. Our initial idea was to make our ghost the woman who
is seen in out opening title but then made her the
victim because we changed the plot of the story to
the ghost being a young girl who comes after the
woman.
2. We were thinking of making the woman a teenager at
first but thought that we needed a more mature
actor to be featured in our film.
3. Also there was going to be a murder scene in the
opening but we thought it would ruin the film.

3. Final Idea
Our final idea is about a woman who’s walking home from work as she
starts to hear laughter of a young girl and then feels like she's being
followed by someone. As she looks back to see, there is nothing
behind her and all she sees is a park where the swings and roundabout
are moving on their own. The woman gets paranoid and walks faster to
get home. As she gets through her door she hears a loud door slam
upstairs and calls out to see if its her husband. No one answers back
so she goes to investigate. While she's walking around her house she
hears laughter coming from all directions and then she's led in to her
bedroom. Something starts to rattle in her wardrobe and it gets
louder. She gets closer to the wardrobe and starts to open the door
to find a little girl wearing a scary mask on her face that jumps out at
her. This leads the woman to scream and then the screen goes black.

4. Inspiration
Our inspiration came from different horror movies which we’ve seen
such as the Ring, The Orphanage and The Sixth Sense as they all
feature a paranormal activity within the plot and also feature
children as either the ghost or the victims. The fact that these
films have children in gives a scary and creepy tone to it as the way
they act and are represented.

5. Casting
For our casting we have decided not to use a lot of
actors we don’t feature all our characters in the scene.
Our main role a female who will be portrayed by
Yinka and we will have our friend play a the little girl
who is the ghost.
Some movies which are stereotypical about little kids
playing the murderer or the ghosts are The Ring and
The orphanage.

6. Tagline
Our tagline for our movie is ‘No where to run, no where
to hide, she’s living in the back of your mind’.
We thought of this because it is relevant to our story
as the “she” that is talked about is the little girl who
has come back to haunt her sister because she was the
one who killed her and now her sister cant stop thinking
about what's going to happen to her.

7. Possible Music
Music that will feature in our opening at the start will
be a old nursery rhyme which relates to the little girl
and the woman's past. This gives the start a creepy
feel to it and gets the audience started.
Other music which will feature is common horror type
music playing in the background of our film where the
atmosphere gets more louder such as when we show the
little girl following the woman around her.

8. How It Meets Thriller Conventions
Our film meets thriller conventions as it
includes suspense through out the film where
the woman doesn’t know what's going and also
the audience.
Although it is a thriller film our movie is more
on the lines of a horror film but uses most
thriller conventions.

9. Themes
The theme of our film is more or less based
around a paranormal type horror thriller as it is
a common theme used in horror films now and
has been for a very long time. Also our film uses
murder and mystery in it as well.
