This document describes the role and responsibilities of an Information Systems Analyst for the State Courts. The analyst assists with determining requirements for new applications, meets with users to assess needs, designs and tests applications, provides technical support and training. They are responsible for debugging applications and preparing documentation. A bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field plus one year of systems analysis experience is required. Knowledge of programming languages, computer capabilities, and the State Courts system is also needed.
