 Audit means a systematic and independent enquiry
of operations and performances (financial or
otherwise) of an enterprise for a stated purpose.
 IA is a process which identifies and evaluates an
organization's flow and recorded information.

“A systematic examination of information use,
resources and flows, with a verification by reference to both
people and existing documents, in order to establish the
extent to which they are contributing to an organization's
