I discovered this system to help my son learn language. I am also using it to tame the wild little Indians, my twin two year old girls. Positive Reinforcement is a popular behavioral management approach in parenting. This model was taken from Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), an empirically tested therapy to help children on the Autism spectrum receive healing. Positive Reinforcement rewards the child for positive behavior, thus giving them incentive and motivation to change. My older son calls it "bribery", which it essentially is :) This presentation was done in conjunction with my friend, Amanda Moore, a licensed ABA therapist (BCBA).
