Age and Gender
• From research on the internet and questionnaires I have noted that
our target audience is aged between 16-25. At this age, students are
able to relate to lyrics and songs as many indie rock songs are about
love, relationships and sex as well as alcohol and drugs.
• In terms of male and female, the indie rock genre is dominated by a
male audience. This could be relation to the fact that the majority of
indie rock artists have the same psychological needs as their fans which
allows the audience to relate to their lyrics and videos. Although there
are many fans of this genre which are female.

• May likely play an instrument: guitar, drums.
• Could enjoy indie films.
• Likely to smoke/drink.
