3. Mukesh Ambani the chairman and CEO of the
Indian conglomerate Reliance Industries
Limited made it to the top of the list. The elder son of
the founder of Reliance Industries late Dhirubhai
Ambani is the largest Shareholder in RIL. He holds a
44.7 percent stake in the company.

5. The second place has gone to Wipro's Azim Premji, a
climb of two places for Bangalore's IT czar

7. Ratan Tata, who held steady at the top for five years,
has now slipped to third rank (after his retirement) He
was the chairman of the Tata Group from 1991-2012. He
stepped down as the chairman on 28 December 2012
and now holds the position of Chairman Emeritus of
the group which is an honorary and advisory position.
He will continue as the chairman of the groups
charitable trusts.

is India's third largest business house. He is also the
Chancellor of the Birla Institute of Technology &
Science.

in sixth. The chairman of Anil Dhirubhai Ambani
Group, one of the largest private conglomerates in
India, is also a member of the Board of Overseers at
the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
He is also the member of the Board of Governors of
the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and Indian
Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

same year.
