 Increasing reading speed involves practice and
adopting effective strategies. Here are some tips:
 Preview the Material
 Eliminate Sub vocalization
 Expand Your Peripheral Vision
 Use a Pointer or Guide
 Practice with Timed Sessions
 Chunking Information
 Improve Vocabulary
 Regular Practice

3.  Preview the Material:
Quickly scan headings, subheadings, and any bold or
italicized text to get an overview before diving into the
details.
 Eliminate Subvocalization:
Try to minimize the habit of pronouncing each word in
your head. Focus on visualizing concepts instead of
verbalizing them

4.  Expand Your Peripheral Vision:
Train your eyes to capture groups of words at a time by
widening your gaze. Avoid fixating on individual words.
 Use a Pointer or Guide:
Utilize your finger, a pen, or a pointer to guide your eyes
along the lines. This can help reduce regression (going
back to re-read) and keep a steady pace.
