Overall, if developed responsibly with strong safety protocols, nuclear power could make an important zero-carbon contribution to the global energy mix.
32. Energy Sources ( Energy sources the fuel) A Series of Presentation to ...Mr.Allah Dad Khan
The document discusses various sources of energy, dividing them into conventional and non-conventional sources. Conventional sources include fossil fuels like coal, petroleum and natural gas. These are used in thermal power plants to produce electricity. Hydro power plants use the kinetic energy of flowing water for electricity. Non-conventional sources include solar, wind, biomass, tidal, geothermal and nuclear energy. These provide alternatives to fossil fuels and many are renewable but also have challenges like cost, land use or waste disposal.

Tidal energy is a renewable source of energy that harnesses the power of tides. It has several advantages, including being renewable as tides are driven by the gravitational pull of the moon and sun, being a green energy source that doesn't emit greenhouse gases, and having a predictable output. However, tidal energy also has disadvantages such as potentially impacting the environment, only being available when tides are surging for around 10 hours per day so requiring effective energy storage, and being an expensive new technology that is not yet cost-effective.

LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like

3. Garlic
Garlic is one of the most common
ingredients in Indian dishes but apart from
imparting flavour to food, this tiny, white pod
also has immense medicinal properties.
Used since time immemorial to treat various
ailments, garlic is one ingredient in your
kitchen that has a number of uses. Here are
the top 15 health benefits of garlic you
should know about.
4. Low in calories, high in nutrients
• Garlic is extremely low in calories, but really packs a
punch with regards to nutrition. In fact, just one
ounce of garlic contains a gram of fiber, plenty of
copper, calcium, and potassium as well as 6% of your
recommended daily allowance of selenium.
• On top of that, you’ll find 15% RDA vitamin C, 17%
vitamin B6, and 23% manganese. Overall, this pocket
of nutrition will set you back a mere 42 calories
assuming you consumed one ounce of garlic.
• Obviously you wouldn’t want to eat garlic as it is–
instead, it should be finely chopped and added to the
food that you usually eat. It’s great for you and the
flavor can really add an extra dimension to your food.

7. 1.Garlic Fights Inflammation
Protecting Against Numerous
Conditions
Research shows that anti-
inflammatory compounds in
garlic can also benefit our
musculoskeletal system and
respiratory system. Two sulfur
containing constituents in
garlic, diallyl sulfide (DAS) and
thiacremonone, have anti-
arthritic properties. Garlic has
also been shown to improve
inflammatory conditions when
referring to allergic airway
inflammation.
8. 2.Garlic fights off fungal
infection
Studies reveal that apart
from having anti-viral
and anti-bacterial
properties, garlic is quite
very special because it
can also fight of fungi.
This is again attributed
to the sulfur compound
that garlic has. It was
said that WWI soldiers
treated their wounds
with cloves of garlic to
fight off infection.
9. 3.Garlic reduces Toothache
Among many home remedies for
toothache, the use of garlic has
been passed down for years to
treat this issue; the antibiotic
compound called allicin is what
give garlic this ability. When garlic
is crushed, this compound is
released, helping to slow bacterial
activity upon application and
ingestion. Try applying a crushed
garlic clove or garlic powder to the
area. It may burn, but the pain
from the toothache could vanish
within minutes, although it could
take hours. Repeat this over a few
days, and you all should be well
10. 4.Garlic Repel mosquitoes
Although not
conclusive, there is a
long history of using
garlic to get rid of many
insects. Garlic has a
reputation for protecting
people from mosquito
bites, specifically.
11. 5.Garlic control warts
Each night before bed,
crush up a clove of
garlic, rub it on the wart,
and apply a bandage.
Additionally, cover the
wart with juice from
garlic twice a day.
12. 6.Garlic ease Earache
Mix some sesame oil
with a garlic clove and
warm the mixture up in
a pan. Afterwards, use it
as ear drops. It is
recommended that you
allow the mixture to sit
in the ear for 10 minutes
or longer.
13. 7.Garlic reduces Cough
Boiling cloves of garlic
and drinking it like tea
will not only make it
easier to breathe, but it
will also help to alleviate
itchiness which could
cause you to cough
continuously. Check out
other home remedies
for cough here.
14. 8.Garlic reduces Stuffy nose or
nasal congestion
• – Adding to garlic benefits, this
spice is one ingredient in one of
the most popular home remedies
for nasal congestion: tomato
tea. Tomato tea is by far the most
effective method as reported by
peers on Earthclinic. It’s hot and
spicy, providing steam and pepper
to clear your sinuses, as well as a
wallop of vitamin C and a boost to
the immune system. Combine the
following ingredients in a food
processor and heat over a stove
until steaming.1 cup tomato juice
• 1 tsp fresh garlic
• ½ tsp of hot sauce
• 1 tsp lemon juice
• Pinch of sea or celery salt
15. 9.Garlic Helps combat illness
• By assisting your immune system,
the humble garlic bulb can help
you avoid the common cold and a
host of other illnesses. It’s been
found in studies that those who
regularly consume garlic or take
garlic supplements each day are
63% less likely to catch the
common cold. It was also found
that the length of time symptoms
of the common cold linger was
reduced by 70% all thanks to
consuming a garlic supplement.
• If you regularly get colds or find
yourself catching viruses, it makes
sense to start eating more garlic.
It’s easy to incorporate into your
diet and makes life much easier,
particularly in the winter.
16. 10.Garlic Reduces your blood pressure
• Blood pressure can be a tricky
thing to control these days with so
many foods not having all the
nutrients they naturally should.
It’s therefore essential to have a
balanced diet and ensure you get
enough garlic which can help
relieve hypertension.
• Studies have shown that garlic can
be just as effective as drugs that
are designed to reduce blood
pressure, including Atenolol. Over
a period of 24 weeks, participants
were given a dose of up to
1,500mg of garlic each day and it
was found that their blood
pressure was significantly reduced
to the same results levels as
prescription drugs.
17. 11.Garlic May Help You Live Longer
• Effects on longevity are
basically impossible to
prove in humans.
• But given the beneficial
effects on important risk
factors like blood pressure,
it makes sense that garlic
could help you live longer.
• The fact that it can fight
infectious disease is also an
important factor, because
these are common causes
of death, especially in the
elderly or people with
dysfunctional immune
systems.
18. 12.Garlic Lowers cholesterol levels
As well as reducing blood
pressure, garlic can reduce
strain on your heart by
lowering levels of bad
cholesterol in the blood.
Those who already have
high cholesterol levels will
see the biggest difference
when consuming garlic–but,
all in all, it’s a great
alternative to drugs and a
drastic diet change when
you need to improve your
cholesterol level
19. 13.Garlic Helps prevent
dementia
By protecting your brain
against oxidative damage,
garlic can ensure that
individuals remain mentally
healthy for many years to
come. Alzheimer’s is one of
the most common brain
conditions that affects
elderly people and a high
dose of a garlic supplement
has been shown to increase
the amount of antioxidant
enzymes in the body.
20. 14.Garlic Improves athletic
performance
If you’re a keen runner or
cyclist, this benefit may
interest you. It has been found
that garlic is an incredible
performance-enhancing
substance. It was used during
the original Olympics by the
ancient Greek, but we have
now proven that it really does
help. Studies have shown that
those who consumed garlic oil
daily for six weeks had an
improved exercise capacity and
had their heart rate peaking at
a figure that was 12% higher
than usual.
21. 15.Garlic Extends your life expectancy
• Want to live to a ripe old age? You will
already know that a balanced diet and
exercise are necessary for that, but garlic
should come into the equation as well.
It’s impossible to prove that garlic can
make you live longer, but there are
reasons that it is believed to help do
exactly that.
• Given that garlic can help reduce blood
pressure, improve muscle function, and
protect your bones, it makes logical
sense to believe that garlic can help
extend your life. It’s a healthy food,
packed with nutrients and vitamins and
many other foods just can’t come close in
regard to the amount of nutrition it packs
into such a small food.
22. 16.Garlic Detoxifies heavy metals
The body requires heavy
metals in order to function
properly, but when you
consume a large amount all
at once, it can be difficult
for the body to break them
down. It has been found
that garlic can help the
body detoxify these metals
in the body which are found
in many regular foods that
you consume and help the
body function as it needs to.
23. 17.Garlic Strengthens bones
Stronger bones mean you
can live in comfort longer
and that you can exercise
and protect your muscles
into old age. Ultimately,
strong bones allow you to
stay healthy for longer–
and, in turn, so does
garlic. Garlic and garlic
supplements help improve
your bone rigidity by
increasing the amount of
estrogen in females
24. 18.Garlic Easy to incorporate into your
diet
• Garlic is used in many cuisines
and it’s really easy to
incorporate into your diet
making it one of the best
health foods out there. Not
only can you buy it in raw,
bulb form, but you can also
purchase garlic oil, garlic
powder and garlic
supplements.
• This means you can choose to
take it in pill form each day or
experiment with your food
each night by cooking different
recipes and incorporating garlic
into them
25. 19. Garlic has been found to assist babies to
gain weight while they are in the womb.
• Next time you have a
baby prepare to have
garlic breath. Except
if you have a history
of large babies in
which case maybe
you want to skip the
extra doses?
26. 20. Garlic contains high levels of iodine which makes it
a very effective treatment for hyperthyroid
conditions.
Treatment with garlic
has been shown to
greatly improve this
condition.
