Volunteers from SHI Minneapolis and students from Field Elementary School participated in a business skills competition hosted by SuitUp. The competition involved students creating business ideas in teams and pitching them to judges for a cash prize, with guidance from SHI volunteer coaches. The winning team was called "The Humming Bird". Surveys found the event improved students' confidence and career interests, and volunteers saw it as a way to encourage students to explore different industries. Both students and volunteers expressed interest in participating in another SuitUp event in the future.
