Volunteers from McKesson Grapevine partnered with students from Journey to Dream nonprofit to participate in a SuitUp business competition. Students were divided into teams and coached by McKesson volunteers in developing innovative strategies to increase awareness of employment opportunities at McKesson. The teams then pitched their ideas to judges with the winning team receiving a cash prize. Surveys found that the competition increased students' confidence and interest in careers like business, healthcare, and STEM fields that McKesson offers. Both volunteers and students enjoyed the experience and wanted to participate in future SuitUp events.
