Volunteers from McKesson Grapevine partnered with students from Journey to Dream nonprofit to participate in a SuitUp business competition. Students were divided into teams and coached by McKesson volunteers in different business departments to create a pitch to increase awareness of McKesson employment opportunities. The winning team was "The Healthcare Hotties". Surveys found the competition increased students' confidence and career interests, with many now considering healthcare, business, and other fields. Volunteers also felt they made a positive impact and most students and volunteers wanted to participate in future SuitUp events.
