KKR, an investment firm, hosted a SuitUp event where students from Boys & Girls Clubs participated in a business case competition. Students were divided into teams and coached by KKR volunteers to develop new product ideas for Nike. Team 3's "Nike Solar Raze" idea won. Post-event surveys found that 100% of students felt more confident and that the event helped them learn skills for future careers, with many interested in fields like business, marketing, and STEM. Volunteers and students both enjoyed the experience and wanted to participate in future SuitUp events.
