This research examines the role of hotel employees’ satisfaction with their organization’s COVID-19 responses in reducing their perceived job insecurity (PJI) and maintaining their job performance (JP). We conducted two studies using an explanatory sequential mixed-methods design. The results indicated that employees’ satisfaction with organization COVID-19 responses (SOCV19R) positively influences JP and moderates (1) the positive association between perceived health risk associated with COVID-19 (PHRCV19) and PJI and (2) the negative link between PJI and JP. Unexpectedly, PHRCV19 was found to positively affect JP, and the moderating effect of SOCV19R on the relationship between PHRCV19 and JP was significant and positive. We also found that PJI has a mediating role in the PHRCV19–JP relationship. This study fills a significant gap in hospitality research by exploring the role of the organization’s crisis responses in tempering the impact of perceived health risk of a global health crisis on hotel employees. Theoretically, this research revealed that employees’ SOCV19R helps raise JP, mitigate the positive influence of PHRCV19 on PJI and the negative impact of PJI on JP, and strengthen the positive effect of PHRCV19 on JP.

We develop and test an integrated model to understand how individual differences based on internal or external locus of control can influence the effects of COVID-19 perceptions on job insecurity, anxiety, alienation, job satisfaction, customer orientation, organisational citizenship behaviour (OCB), and turnover intention among customer service employees working in hospitality organisations in the Middle East and North African (MENA) region. The investigation utilises variance-based Structural Equation Modelling to evaluate a sample of 847 subject responses. We found that externally controlled employees are more likely to develop negative emotions as a result of pandemic-triggered job insecurity as well as poorer customer orientation and engagement in OCB due to worsened job satisfaction than those internally controlled. Wholistically, COVID-19 perceptions tend to indirectly hit externally controlled employees’ anxiety, customer orientation and OCB more intensely than those with internal locus of control.

Given the different levels of pandemic severity in Germany and Italy, the paper investigates the differences in information behavior, and its consequences, between German and Italian young adults during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially in the first and second waves of infections in the two countries. In particular, the issue of crisis management through institutional communication, the development of information behavior and information consumption throughout the year 2020 are analyzed through a questionnaire-based case study considering the constructs topic fatigue, trust in government sources and vaccination hesitancy. The paper reveals that there are considerable differences in time spent looking for information, with Italian respondents generally spending more time in these activities. Surprisingly, Italian respondents seem to place more trust in their government and institutions than Germans do. Vaccination hesitancy is estimated as higher in Germany than in Italy. People who feel less informed are also less likely to get a vaccination when offered the possibility, moreover, the perception of risk of infection plays a major role in vaccination acceptance. From the point of view of public management, findings of this work highlight the knowledge of citizens’ information behavior and habits as relevant to the design of communication campaigns to address health crises.

This study evaluates the use of network optimization models in an essential infrastructure business during a pandemic. As per the Cyber Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), there are 16 critical infrastructure sectors whose assets, systems, and networks, whether physical or virtual, are considered vital to the United States. Their incapacitation or destruction would have a debilitating effect on the security, national economic security, national public health or safety, or any combination thereof.
For this study, we primarily focus on the Healthcare and Public Health Sector (HPH). This branch is considered a core sector as it protects the economy from threats such as terrorism, infectious disease outbreaks, and natural disasters. This evaluation provides insights into the network optimization models used by a pharmaceutical company in administrating vaccinations to its local community during the COVID-19 pandemic. The intended result of the study is to provide an optimized delivery strategy by understanding the pros and cons of the network model that is being used currently and suggest a better strategical network model if available to administrate the vaccination program safely and efficiently throughout the United States.

Cucumber disease recognition using machine learning and transfer learningriyaniaes
Cucumber is grown, as a cash crop besides it is one of the main and popular vegetables in Bangladesh. As Bangladesh's economy is largely dependent on the agricultural sector, cucumber farming could make economic and productivity growth more sustainable. But many diseases diminish the situation of cucumber. Early detection of disease can help to stop disease from spreading to other healthy plants and also accurate identifying the disease will help to reduce crop losses through specific treatments. In this paper, we have presented two approaches namely traditional machine learning (ML) and CNN-based transfer learning. Then we have compared the performance of the applied techniques to find out the most appropriate techniques for recognizing cucumber diseases. In our ML approach, the system involves five steps. After collecting the image, pre-processing is done by resizing, filtering, and contrast-enhancing. Then we have compared various ML algorithms using k-means based image segmentation after extracted 10 relevant features. Random forest gives the best accuracy with 89.93% in the traditional ML approach. We also studied and applied CNN-based transfer learning to investigate the further improvement of recognition performance. Lastly, a comparison among various transfer learning models such as InceptionV3, MobileNetV2, and VGG16 has been performed. Between these two approaches, MobileNetV2 achieves the highest accuracy with 93.23%.

A canonical action research method is used to study social media adoption in microbusiness, and a post positivist approach is used to report the results based on a predetermined premise. It is found that the major constructs of performance and effort expectancy played an insignificant role, and social influence and facilitating conditions did not influence the behavioral and
adoption intentions of social media by microbusiness owners. Owner characteristics and codification effort dominated the use behavior. The goal of microbusiness owners in gaining additional customers leads to behavioral modification resulting in replacing of behavioral intention with goals as a superior method of predicting adoption behavior within the context of microbusinesses.

An EHealth Adoption Framework for Developing Countries: A Systematic Reviewhiij
There is growing interest in the rate of eHealth uptake resulting from the increased potential to advance the quality of healthcare services in both the developed and developing countries. Although the implementation of information and communication technology to support healthcare delivery would greatly address the quality and accessibility challenges in healthcare as well as reduction in the cost of healthcare delivery, the adoption of eHealth has not been fully realized. This study aimed at conducting a systematic literature review to establish the factors associated with the adoption of eHealth and propose a context-specific framework for successful adoption of eHealth technologies in developing countries such as Uganda. The systematic literature review process was guided by the Systematic Review Protocol. The review of 29 journals from the period 2009-2021 showed that, although the most widely used frameworks in the developing countries were Technology Adoption Model (TAM), Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) framework and Technology Organization Environment (TOE) framework, there were other salient factors reported by other researchers that contributed to the adoption of eHealth in developing countries. A novel framework for adoption of eHealth in the local context with eight (8) dimensions namely; Sociodemographic, Technology, Information, Socio-cultural, Organization, Governance, Ethical and legal and Financial dimensions is derived and presented as result of the research.

The COVID-19 disease has infected many countries, causing generalized impacts on different income categories. We carried out a survey among households (n = 412) representing different income groups in Nigeria. We used validated food insecurity experience and socio-psychologic tools. Data obtained were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The earning capacities of the respondents ranged from 145 USD/month for low-income earners to 1945 USD/month for high-income earners. A total of 173 households (42%) ran out of food during the COVID-19 pandemic. All categories of households experienced increasing dependency on the general public and a perception of increasing insecurity, with the high-income earners experiencing the greatest shift. In addition, increasing levels of anger and irritation were experienced among all categories. Of the socio-demographic variables, only gender, educational level of the household head, work hours per day, and family income based on society class were associated (p < 0.05) with food security and hunger due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although psychological stress was observed to be greater in the low-income earning group, household heads with medium and high family income were more likely to have satisfactory experiences regarding food security and hunger. It is recommended that socio-economic groups should be mapped and support systems should target each group to provide the needed support in terms of health, social, economic, and mental wellness.

Introduction
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a crisis in many sectors globally, including the education sector. Since the disease hit the world, efforts have been made to seek alternative lifestyles. It forced the education sector to move away from face-to-face learning, and both teachers and students switched to online learning. Since then, the disease has had impacts like sociological where people cannot come up and learn together, psychological in that people have been stressed up with deaths of their people, and much more on distance learning in adolescents (Ali, 2020). In this case, it is the ninth-grade students of the American High School Academy. The disease has created unprecedented pressure on Miami Dade. On April 6, 2021, the number of reported death cases was 19, and 1,516 new cases were reported. This shows that the infection rate is still very high, despite the slight decrease in the number of infected. The COVID-19 rules being followed in Miami include getting vaccinated, wearing masks to maintain social distance, and disinfecting rooms and objects. The referred center has about 250 students, and their teachers take attendance to classes online, and classes are attended online.

In my capstone project, I investigated the impact of COVID-19 on education. Using data analysis and statistical methods, I explored various aspects such as enrollment trends, access to resources, and socioeconomic disparities. I found a significant association between children missing classes and a lack of internet connection at home, as well as between household financial situations and children's enrollment in school. These findings highlight the importance of addressing disparities in internet access, household finances, and geographical location to ensure equal educational opportunities for all students during and beyond the pandemic.

This study method is a literature review, by accessing several peer-reviewed literature articles between 2020 and 2021 related to emergency response and lessons learned of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Based on the literature review that has been analysed, practices and lessons learned in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic can be identified, including: extensive public health infrastructure, establishment of temporary hospitals, effective isolation methods, increased social distancing, surveillance systems with digital technology, community involvement, and lock-down as a last alternative to inhibit the spread, as well as a crisis management approach from an Islamic perspective. It can be concluded that emergency response in decision making and policy is a very influential factor in the success of controlling the COVID-19 pandemic.
Capstone in Interprofessional Informatic // IMPACT OF COVID 19 ON EDUCATIONLakpaYanziSherpa

Modeling and Forecasting the COVID-19 Temporal Spread in Greece: An Explorato...Konstantinos Demertzis
Within the complex framework of anti-COVID-19 health management, where the criteria of diagnostic testing, the availability of public-health resources and services, and the applied anti-COVID-19 policies vary between countries, the reliability and accuracy in the modeling of temporal spread can prove to be effective in the worldwide fight against the disease. This paper applies an exploratory time-series analysis to the evolution of the disease in Greece, which currently suggests a success story of COVID-19 management. The proposed method builds on a recent conceptualization of detecting connective communities in a time-series and develops a novel spline regression model where the knot vector is determined by the community detection in the complex network. Overall, the study contributes to the COVID-19 research by proposing a free of disconnected past-data and reliable framework of forecasting, which can facilitate decision-making and management
of the available health resources.

The literature shows little evidence on the effects of the business model upon the volatility of banks in developing and fast growing economies. Hence, this study examines the effects of busi-ness model choice on bank’s stability in ASEAN countries. Using GMM and other robust econo-metric methods on the sample of 99 joint stock commercial banks, we find significant and nega-tive impacts of diversification model in which bank shifts toward non – interest and fee – based activities. We also find that the impacts are different between two groups of countries. For Vi-etnam, Indonesia and the Philippines, the diversification entails negative impacts on the stability while demonstrating positive impacts for Thailand and Malaysia. Upon the findings, we draw policy implications for a more sustainable development in ASEAN banking business.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

A Memorandum of Association (MOA) is a legal document that outlines the fundamental principles and objectives upon which a company operates. It serves as the company's charter or constitution and defines the scope of its activities. Here's a detailed note on the MOA:
Contents of Memorandum of Association:
Name Clause: This clause states the name of the company, which should end with words like "Limited" or "Ltd." for a public limited company and "Private Limited" or "Pvt. Ltd." for a private limited company.

Registered Office Clause: It specifies the location where the company's registered office is situated. This office is where all official communications and notices are sent.
Objective Clause: This clause delineates the main objectives for which the company is formed. It's important to define these objectives clearly, as the company cannot undertake activities beyond those mentioned in this clause.

1. Data Description
Since first emerging in Wuhan, China in December 2019, the disease caused by novel coro-
navirus SARS-CoV-2 has taken on pandemic proportions and severely affected the global public
health and economy as well (WHO, 2020). As a country in close proximity to the initial epicen-
ter of the outbreak, Vietnam faces a high risk of infection, and to combat the spread of virus
all of the non-heath related activities were put on the brakes. Despite the validity of such re-
sponses in practice, they have widely influenced our way of living, but the degree of impact
is not yet definite. With a focus on students as subject of investigation, this data set is aimed
to enhance our knowledge repertoire regarding various aspects of the Covid-19 pandemic, in
particular how student’s behavior and perceptions may change due to the public health crisis.
Our survey probes into the sensitivity of students toward crisis in making crucial decisions of
daily routines, as well as future travel plans in presence of a grave health concern. In this sense,

the data serve well the purpose of providing guidance for tourism industry in formulation of
recovery strategy in the post-crisis.
The data collection was conducted between March 16 and March 22 after the beginning of
the Covid-19 outbreak in Vietnam. Most infections in this period were imported cases when
Vietnamese returned home from other countries, such as Malaysia, Britain, and France. At the
end of the period, there were a total of 113 cases tested positive, of which just a handful were
infected cases among community with untraceable source. Since 23 January when the first two
cases were reported, Vietnam’s government has taken proactive measures to prevent and contain
the spread of the virus, from warnings against social gatherings and outdoor activities to strict
quarantine for at-risk clusters. During the time of survey, there was not yet a uniformly ap-
plied measure until April 1 when the government ordered a nationwide isolation. With the sup-
port of Internet platforms (Facebook, Google Form), the survey resulted in valid 440 responses.
Specifically, the questionnaire was structured in two parts: the first piece of information covered
is demographic characteristics, including gender, household head’s occupation, extra job status,
monthly income, location; and the second part starts with general impacts felt during the out-
break, and then focuses on attitude toward and preferences for different decisions during and in
the post-pandemic. Table 1 describes the characteristics of students in our sample. Table 2 sum-

2. Experimental design, materials and methods
To construct the survey, we conducted a qualitative interview with randomly chosen 12 Viet-
namese students, where open-ended questions were used for the exploratory purpose. Three
main questions are (1) how have the Covid-19 outbreak generally affected your life? (2) what ac-
tivities do you often participate in or avoid during the Covid-19 pandemic? (3) do you have any
post-crisis plans, if yes what are they? Answers to these questions indicate the aspects of stu-
dents’ life most likely influenced can be clustered around three groups of activities: work/study,
move and travel. Perceptions of high risks of infection among community have brought about
radical changes to their daily routines. For example, they had to get used to online lectures de-
livered on Internet platforms (e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google’s Hangout), and temporarily
abandoned their move intentions and travel plans. Further, design of our survey was supple-
mented by the theoretical framework of perceived risk factors [1] and literature on the impacts
of SARS on tourist consumption [2,3].
The survey instrument consisted of 26 items, including 21 statements of specific im-
pact of the COVID-19 which require participants to rate on a 5-point Likert scale, particu-
larly 1 = Totally disagree; 2 = Somewhat disagree; 3 = Neither agree nor disagree; 4 = Somewhat
agree; 5 = Totally agree. We decided to employ online survey approach using the Internet plat-
forms (Facebook, Google Form) with consent obtained from each respondent [4]. All of the sur-
vey items were obliged to be answered, thus no missing data was reported. In Table 3, we also
provided the results of exploratory factor analysis with SPSS software, demonstrating that the 21
items were saliently loaded onto three dimensions, namely, perceptions of general impacts of the
pandemic, attitude toward and preferences for specific decisions, which was further delineated
into three sub-groups (1) AP1, AP3, AP4, AP6, AP8 named the move-related behaviours; (2) AP7,
AP9 referred to as travel-related behaviours; (3) AP2, AP5 called work-related behaviours, and
lastly the dimension reflecting after-pandemic decisions and plans. The analysis was grounded
on relevant ratios such as Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin statistic (KMO) equal to or higher than 0.5, Barlett
test with p-value smaller than 0.05, and average variance extracted over 50%, factor loadings of
