Treatment strategies for remission induction and maintenance of ANCA-associated vasculitis (AAV) focus on immunosuppressive therapies such as glucocorticoids combined with either cyclophosphamide or rituximab to induce remission, followed by azathioprine or methotrexate for remission maintenance to prevent disease relapses.
