This document describes an experimental smart medical bracelet called i-MED that can be used in three modes: emergency department pre-screening, regular monitoring of inpatients, and off-site monitoring of patients. The bracelet monitors vital signs, performs non-invasive medical exams and blood tests, tracks patient location, and communicates with hospitals. It aims to improve emergency response, provide continuous health monitoring, and reduce healthcare costs without compromising patient care.
