This family winery located in Rioja, Spain was founded in 1940 and is now run by the fourth generation of the family. They have 60 hectares of vineyards and produce 6 different Rioja wines ranging from a young red to crianzas and reservas. The wines have won numerous awards and medals in international competitions over the years.

and capacity to expand our wines

3. INTRODUCTION





As the fourth generation in a line of growers with an authentic treasure – sixty
hectares of exceptional vineyards, with terroirs of very old vines – we have to give
thanks to this land every day. Land as the source of wines which are lovingly tended
from the moment the grapes begin to appear on the vine.
Grape growing is unquestionably a fundamental pillar in our winery. In the
elaboration of wine, grapes coming from our parcels located in the slopes of Monte
Yerga are used. This is a privileged place located at more than 600 meters of
altitude, where a limestone and stony ground, the rigors of winters and warm
summers are combined to produce excellent grapes.
At our 60 hectares of vineyards, garnacha of centenary vineyards with more select
clons of tempranillo and graciano, are protagonist.
The quality of ground, low produces and culture of grape and wine growing or wine
industry inherited of our olders permit us collect over the years excellent grapes
respecting scrupulousment this environment.

whose lives revolve around wine

the Crianza, the singular graciano and, only in exceptional
years the Vendimia Seleccionada (selected harvext)
crianza and reserva


Garnacha100% coming from thirty-yearold vineyards

After a strict maturity control, the
grapes were selected and hand
harvested. The grapes were carefully
pressed in order to achieve their
utmost contribution to the must,
precise colour and the best arome.

Bright pink colour. It is remarkable the
wide range of aromas shown from
flower petal to strawberry, fruits.
Tasting is wide, very fruity, fresh and
pleasant

Combination with rices, pastes, white
meat, fishes and starters.

6. OUR RIOJA WINES:
ILURCE RED WINE

Tempranillo 100% coming
from forty-year-old vineyards

A hand harvest was with the
utmost care achieved at the
top-quality grape ripening.

Deep cherry colour with
purple edgings, bright, limpid
and strong. Elegant arome
with a good balance among
red fruits, licorice and butter.
Tasting is full, fleshy and well
structured.

Combination: with grilled,
roasted or cooked meat.

7. OUR RIOJA WINES:
ILURCE CRIANZA

ILURCE CRIANZA made from
Tempranillo (70%), garnacha (15%) and
graciano (15%) grapes.

Careful selection of grapes, respect or
traditional winemaking techniques and
the necessary ageing time to extract all
the nuances provided by the oak.

The elaboration and the ageing
processes preserve its natural integrity.

Deep black-cherry colour, with garnetviolet hues around the rim. A complex
nose with hints of liquorice, ripe fruit,
spices and candied cherries. A wine
with a balanced sensation in the mouth
leaving a reminder of oasted oak
nuances.

Combination: Cooked or roasted meat.

8. OUR RIOJA WINES:
ILURCE GRACIANO

ILURCE GRACIANO, made from
graciano grapes(100% ).

This wine seeks to be homage to this
grape variety, very generous with the
hand which knows how to give it what
it needs.

On the eye, a blaze of colour, and on
the nose, an explosion of lactic aromas,
sweet like chocolate or prunes, floral,
with aromatic herbs and spices such as
cloves, a typical aroma of this variety.
On the palate it is round and persistent,
leaving a long, lingering reminder.

Combination: Cooked or roasted meat,
Italian food(rissoto, some pastes)

9. SELECTED HARVEST
CRIANZA



ILURCE SELECTED HARVEST, made
from garnacha (60 %) and tempranillo
(40 %) grapes.
The treatment of select grapes is
carefully during the production, with a
strict fermentation temperature control
(28 ºC) pump overs and a macerating
property to obtain the best of grapes,
getting the best organoleptic features.
After fermentation, the new wine is
racked into oak barrels for malolactic
fermentation and the beginning of the
ageing process. Using american, french
and romanian oak. This process finish
with necessary months in bottle.

At sight it is very attractive, deep cherry
colour with purple edgings. Nose
powerfull and with sweet tones
remembering dry plum, vanilla and
chocolat. In the mouth, sweet
aftertaste, round, very pleasant and
lingering.


10. SELECTED HARVEST
RESERVA

ILURCE VENDIMIA SELECCIONADA
(SELECTE HARVEST) RESERVA made
with 60% tempranillo and 40% garnacha

This wine is the culmination of the
dream of a family winery. The passing of
time has been its great ally, with
eighteen months in new oak casks and a
long period of bottle ageing to round off
a unique, unrepeatable, exceptional
wine.

Exceptional, like its vintage and the
vineyards which saw its birth.

In the tasting you can detect sweet
aromas of chocolate, as well as prunes,
vanilla and liquorice. On the palate it is
powerful, tasty and spicy.

