How can we take UX and Data Storytelling out of the tech context and use them to change the way government behaves?
Showcasing the truth is the highest goal of data storytelling. Because the design of a chart can affect the interpretation of data in a major way, one must wield visual tools with care and deliberation. Using quantitative facts to evoke an emotional response is best achieved with the combination of UX and data storytelling.
This document summarizes a study of CEO succession events among the largest 100 U.S. corporations between 2005-2015. The study analyzed executives who were passed over for the CEO role ("succession losers") and their subsequent careers. It found that 74% of passed over executives left their companies, with 30% eventually becoming CEOs elsewhere. However, companies led by succession losers saw average stock price declines of 13% over 3 years, compared to gains for companies whose CEO selections remained unchanged. The findings suggest that boards generally identify the most qualified CEO candidates, though differences between internal and external hires complicate comparisons.

The aim of the work is to develop a method for easy assembly of the bearing in the housing by standardized way. The assembly of bearing should take place on the atomized set up. Based on this method a assembly setup was constructed which enables to assembly of the shaft with bearing of different models of jaw crusher. First tests were done with manual alignment and it shows that with proper alignment shaft assembly is very easy operation and also safe. Results of those tests show that the developed system provides as good or better results than the manual assembly method by placing on wooden block and aligns by using jacking. The alignment process itself runs automatically. The results are reliable, independent form the user and reproducible. Furthermore the whole assembling of the bearings on a shaft should be automated without to interrupt the process of mounting in order to fatigue for assembler and misalignment in bearing . the assembly of the shaft with bearing in the swing jaw is very critical as well important so it needs attention because any mistake can cause the failuare of the system which result in breakdown and also the bearing failure which is the highest cost element . so the propose system eliminate the manual alignment and the safety issue and also the problem of incorrect assembly of the bearing in jaw by aligning the jaw bore and then only pushing the shaft in straight line so there is no shock load on the bearing which may result the misplacement and misalignment of thr roller in the bearing housing
Modeling and Analysis of Support Pin for Brake Spider Fixture by Fem Using An...IOSR Journals
Abstract: A fixture is designed and built to hold, support and locate every component to ensure that each is
drilled or machined with accuracy and manufactured individually. A fixture can be designed for a particular
job. A brake spider includes a spider body with a central opening and a slot for receiving a camshaft and
bracket assembly. The brake spider is attached to axle housing via the central opening. The form to be used
depends on the shape and requirement of the work piece to be machined. In the existing fixture, used for
modeling brake spider component, only five components were machined per hour. In the present work, detailed
study of brake spider component is carried out and design is modified to increase the productivity. The new
fixture design is carried out by using CATIA V5 modeling software and it is critically evaluated for the failure of
support pin component, by finite element method (FEM) using ANSYS software. This modified design is adapted
in the fabrication of fixture and is tested for its productivity. It is found that there is a considerable enhancement
in the productivity to seven components per hour with required accuracy.

Abstract
This paper gives the reader an insight in to the work we went through to invent the concept for an automated fiber glass sleeve cutting machine. The challenge given to us by the Industry was to design and fabricate the shearing machine that can cut fiber glass sleeves in a given desired length automatically on a large scale. The length of the sleeve given to us is in range of 20mm-50mm. We set out to invent a simple but strong concept resulting in a machine with minimal complexity which will reduce the cost of production, time required to cut the sleeve and also improve the ease of maintenance. This paper is testament to how we achieved a supposedly complex automation using simple mechanical automation. To support our concept we also set out to fabricate a proposed machine to prove this concept will work.

4. DETAIL DESIGN
Piston rest contains poka yoke in order to prevent
wrong loading of the fixture.
4.1.3 Riser block: The main purpose of the riser block
is to locate the guide rods. On the riser block modified
locator is situated. Riser block is also a part of
locating system.
4.1.4 Modified locator: Modified locator is a type of
profile locator which arrests the movement of the
piston during the assembly of the circlip. In order to
prevent the damages to the piston during loading and
unloading to the fixture, a Teflon piece is provided
inside the locator.
4.1.5 Guide block: The guide block guides and
