DRAMA
A: Hello
B : Hello
A : I’m so glad to meet you here. What are you doing here?
B : Nice to meet you, too. I'm just shopping in here.
By the way, where do you live now?
A : I live in Jakarta, and you?
B : I live in Bogor. We have not seen for a long time. If I
have free time, I will come to your home. May I?
A: Okay, I‘ll be waiting. This is my name card.
B : Thank you. But I’m sorry, I have to go now. I'll call you
if I've arrived home.
A: Okay, bye
B : Bye
first conditional
The first conditional refers
to the present and future.
It expresses a possible
(real) condition and its
probable result in the
future.
Conditional type I formed with the
if clause (in the simple present
tense) and the main clause (in
the simple future tense).
Use
we use the First
Conditional to talk
about future events
that are likely to
happen.
Formula
• If +simple present tense, Simple future tense
• Simple future tense + if + simple present
tense
NOTE: don’t forget to enter comma (,) if you
want to put the if clause first. No need to put
a comma if you enter the main clause first
Example:
• If the weather is nice, we will go for a walk.
