2. IF CLAUSE
คือ ประโยคที่มีข้อความแสดงเงื่อนไข (conditions)
ซึ่งประกอบด้วยประโยคเล็ก 2 ประโยครวมกัน
และเชื่อมด้วย conjunction "if"
ประโยคที่นาหน้าด้วย if แสดงเงื่อนไข เราเรียกว่า
If clause
และประโยคที่แสดงผลเงื่อนไขนั้น เราเรียกว่า main clause
Form : If clause, Main clause.
4. If Clause
If + Present Simple, Present Simple.Type 0

***เป็นเงื่อนไขที่เกิดขึ้นได้อย่างแน่นอน
ใช้กับความเป็นจริงที่เกิดขึ้นตามธรรมชาติ (natural laws)
ทางด้านวิทยาศาสตร์หรือการกระทาที่เป็นนิสัยของแต่ละบุคคล
(habitual actions)

***If Clause type 1 นี้ สามารถใช้ Should แทน If ได้

ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ที่ตรงข้ามความจริงในปัจจุบัน หรืออนาคต

Subjunctive were
ปกติแล้ว was จะต้องใช้กับ Singular Nouns แต่ในที่นี้จะ
ใช้ were ซึ่งเป็น subjunctive form แทน
EX. If I were you, I would call her.
If she were here, I could explain to her.

***เป็นเงื่อนไขที่เป็นอดีต และเป็นไปไม่ได้
ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ที่ตรงข้ามกับความเป็นจริงในอดีต
