Students will: 1) select a topic impacting school counselors, 2) develop an initiative to address the topic, and 3) evaluate the success using the MEASURE accountability tool. Overview: For your IT project report, the second of three capstone components, you will imagine that the key stakeholders for whom you wrote your proposal
gave you the go-ahead to implement your information technology solution to the problem you identified. You have designed and developed your project
solution, and now you must report to the stakeholders.
In other words, for this capstone component, you will design and develop your project solution and then report on it. If you are able to implement your solution,
include a summary of your implementation and testing in your report. If you are not able to implement your solution, you may develop a model, simulation,
prototype, or proof of concept as an alternative to developing a fully implemented project. In this case, in your report you should include a plan for
implementation and testing.
Your report must provide clear evidence that your project was implemented and tested (or is implementable and testable). This can be achieved by documenting

What is process evaluation?

What is process evaluation?
Process evaluation uses empirical data to assess the delivery of
programs. In contrast to outcome evaluation, which assess the
impact of the program, process evaluation verifies what the
program is and whether it is being implemented as designed. Thus,
process evaluation asks "what," and outcome evaluation asks, "so
what?"
When conducting a process evaluation, keep in mind these three
questions:
1. What is the program intended to be?
2. What is delivered, in reality?
3. Where are the gaps between program design and delivery?
This workbook will serve as a guide for designing your own process
evaluation for a program of your choosing. There are many steps involved
in the implementation of a process evaluation, and this workbook will
attempt to direct you through some of the main stages. It will be helpful to
think of a delivery service program that you can use as your example as
you complete these activities.
Why is process evaluation important?
1. To determine the extent to which the program is being
implemented according to plan
2. To assess and document the degree of fidelity and variability in
program implementation, expected or unexpected, planned or
unplanned
3. To compare multiple sites with respect to fidelity
4. To provide validity for the relationship between the intervention
and the outcomes
5. To provide information on what components of the intervention
are responsible for outcomes
6. To understand the relationship between program context (i.e.,
setting characteristics) and program processes (i.e., levels of
implementation).
7. To provide managers feedback on the quality of implementation
8. To refine delivery components
9. To provide program accountability to sponsors, the public, clients,
and funders
10. To improve the quality of the program, as the act of evaluating is
an intervention.

introduction to your EDD9953 Signature Assignment: Action Plan. Use the Preliminary Site
Information, the Statement of the Problem, and your Approach to the Problem of Practice
from your EDD9951 Signature Assignment to craft the introduction. (Maximum of 250 words)
NOTE: The problem and project you describe must be the same one that was
approved in your approved Signature Assignment in EDD9951.
Action Plan
Provide a paragraph (3–5 sentences) that introduces the sections of the Action Plan.
The action plan comprises the following sections:

Purpose of the Project
In this section, provide a statement of purpose. You may use the following formulation and add
a few sentences of clarification if desired.
The purpose of the project is to implement [insert your intervention] to improve [insert area
to be improved—be sure it aligns with your problem statement and guiding questions].
Example: The purpose of the project is to implement a professional development program to
improve the instructional leadership skills of district principals. (The problem the professional
development program addresses is that teachers do not receive feedback and coaching that
lead to improvement of instruction. The root-cause analysis identified one of the problem’s
causes: inadequacy of district principals’ classroom observation and coaching skills.)

A program evaluation project might be formulated slightly differently:
Example: The purpose of the project is to implement an evaluation of ABC school’s
science curriculum to inform a comprehensive revision of the science program. (The
problem the evaluation will be used to addresses is poor student achievement in science.

curriculum.)

· Issues and political/economic considerations surrounding national health care.
Create a leadership presentation communicating the message in a PowerPoint Presentation (7-10 slides).
Presentation should be readability for the audience (text color, font size of at least 24), bullet points instead of complete sentences, add slide transitions. Utilize the 6 X 6 Rule (no more than 6 lines per slide/no more than 6 words per line).
You may use various sources including your textbook. Be sure to cite any sources used in a reference slide utilizing APA formatting. When the preparation for a presentation begins shortly before the event, the
quality and the effectiveness of the message suffers. As a primary objective for
leadership communication is to “develop a communication strategy that
facilitates accomplishing their communication objectives” (Barnett, 2011, p. 9).

Your healthcare organization’s strategic plan includes the replacement of the information system currently in place for the electronic health record in the hospital and associated provider offices.
Please note: Life cycle of a system and NOT life cycle of a software. Be careful you do not focus on software.
You will prepare an audiovisual (You must use Kaltura) with a transcript (Word file) or PowerPoint presentation (12-20 slides) with speaker notes that address:

Identify the stakeholders by role and define how that role contributes to the life cycle process- why are they important to the process. A table is good for this. Note: Patients are not employed by the practice.
Identify the major stakeholders and why their role is important to the project
Once you identified the stakeholders there will be some that have more sway in the project than others- they are the major or power stakeholders. Identify which stakeholders are your major stakeholders and in the speaker note/narration, define why. Do not include the government nor insurance companies.

This document contains an overview of the marking scheme for projects with some notes that should be useful
for planning, executing and writing up your final project dissertation. This should be useful for anyone taking a
project module but is aimed in particular towards students in the Computer Science course group (CS, CGT).
1 Marking Criteria
Title – Meaningful, descriptive but not too long (must not promise anything that you do not deliver)
Abstract – brief overview of what you did (last thing to be written)
Introduction (10%)
State the hypothesis and aims, background to subject leading to a definition of the 'problem' or
'application domain' for your work, what you hope to achieve (i.e. what aspect you are addressing with
your work) and how you intend to go about it (more details in the methodology section).
Make sure you have appropriate title and achievable aims
Use of Literature (15%)
Can be in its own section but 'use of literature' applies to whole document. Brief description i.e. (a
single paragraph) of 4 – 10 key texts (but this number rather depends on the work you are doing) where
you say what was useful for your work. Also remember to use citations throughout your work as you
introduce ideas and make claims that need support. Overview of alternative approaches and software
can also go here or in the introduction.
Methodology (20%)
Rational for approach, i.e. why use this way of solving the problem?
Design (often big enough to be its own section) provide specification, description and diagrams.
Marks given for originality and difficulty of task
Implementation and results (15%)
Description of functionality and provision of evidence (testing).
Make sure you are clear about what resources you have used and what is 'your' contribution.

Overview: For your IT project report, the second of three capstone components, you will imagine that the key stakeholders for whom you wrote your proposal
gave you the go-ahead to implement your information technology solution to the problem you identified. You have designed and developed your project
solution, and now you must report to the stakeholders.
In other words, for this capstone component, you will design and develop your project solution and then report on it. If you are able to implement your solution,
include a summary of your implementation and testing in your report. If you are not able to implement your solution, you may develop a model, simulation,
prototype, or proof of concept as an alternative to developing a fully implemented project. In this case, in your report you should include a plan for
implementation and testing.
Your report must provide clear evidence that your project was implemented and tested (or is implementable and testable). This can be achieved by documenting
a demonstration of the project in use or documenting an explanation of the model, simulation, or prototype. Consider using video or screenshots to
demonstrate and explain your project. If the implemented project is to be supplied to the instructor, you could provide a user manual that explains how to
install, configure, and run the software. You are encouraged to submit artifacts of the project including diagrams, software applications, database designs,
process documents, etc. Make sure to include clear instructions for accessing and using these artifacts. The design and development of your project solution
should demonstrate professional-level knowledge and skills.
Your project report should include at least one recommendation for future enhancements. Explain what you might add to the project if you had more resources?
What risk(s) would you need to consider before the enhancement was implemented at some future point in time? What would have to happen first before the
future enhancement was even considered seriously?
You will submit drafts of this component in Modules Four, Five, Six, Seven, and Eight. The final component is due in Milestone Nine.

What is process evaluation?
Process evaluation uses empirical data to assess the delivery of
programs. In contrast to outcome evaluation, which assess the
impact of the program, process evaluation verifies what the
program is and whether it is being implemented as designed. Thus,
process evaluation asks "what," and outcome evaluation asks, "so
what?"
When conducting a process evaluation, keep in mind these three
questions:
1. What is the program intended to be?
2. What is delivered, in reality?
3. Where are the gaps between program design and delivery?
This workbook will serve as a guide for designing your own process
evaluation for a program of your choosing. There are many steps involved
in the implementation of a process evaluation, and this workbook will
attempt to direct you through some of the main stages. It will be helpful to
think of a delivery service program that you can use as your example as
you complete these activities.
Why is process evaluation important?
1. To determine the extent to which the program is being
implemented according to plan
2. To assess and document the degree of fidelity and variability in
program implementation, expected or unexpected, planned or
unplanned
3. To compare multiple sites with respect to fidelity
4. To provide validity for the relationship between the intervention
and the outcomes
5. To provide information on what components of the intervention
are responsible for outcomes
6. To understand the relationship between program context (i.e.,
setting characteristics) and program processes (i.e., levels of
implementation).
7. To provide managers feedback on the quality of implementation
8. To refine delivery components
9. To provide program accountability to sponsors, the public, clients,
and funders
10. To improve the quality of the program, as the act of evaluating is
an intervention.

The objective of the group project is to analyze an international company’s operations management
and recommend solutions and suggestions for any problem that this company is facing based on OM
concepts.
The project aims to achieve the following:
To analyze the production process and the operations functions of the selected company
To establish proper research understanding and proper referencing style.

Project Description:
Working in groups of 5-6 students, select any international company. First, you have to read about the

While the theoretical underpinnings of the assignment will be primarily drawn from lectures/seminars, tutorials and the textbook, students are expected to supplement this with academic and practitioner-based literature.
A limitation of this assignment is that you have only got a short period of time to identify, collect, analyse, and report on your findings. Assessment of your work will take this into account as long as you demonstrate a “reasonable attempt”
Narrow down your focus to an issue/problem that is small enough to allow you to complete your analysis in 6 to 8 weeks while avoiding addressing a trivial issue.
