8. Teach Explicit Steps
• Texting respectfully…and when to call
• CyberBullying
• Bullied: Tell them to stop. Stop responding. Get a
screen shot. Tell a trusted adult.
• Bully: The internet is full of spotlights …and it can
make mean things look even uglier. When you’re
angry, walk away from the spotlight.
• Creepy Online people
• Walk away and tell a trusted adult to protect other
kids who aren’t as wise as you.

• Don’t be afraid of the big, new world.

some of its fruit…but…they’re too strong for us!”
• Don’t stop trying.
– Deut. 11:19 Teach [God’s words] to your children, talking about
them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road,
when you lie down and when you get up.
• Don’t freak out.
– Prov. 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he
is old he will not depart from it.
