This document proposes an immersive educational application to help address the issue of high teenage pregnancy rates in England. The application would involve students caring for and nurturing a virtual baby over a set period of time through gameplay, receiving notifications, and social pressures similar to real teenage parenthood. By putting themselves in the shoes of a teenage parent, the goal is for students to better understand the responsibilities of early pregnancy and make more informed choices. Feedback and messaging within the app are meant to make the experience feel interactive and impactful.
