Final ideas for trailer
In this presentation, I will be explaining my final ideas for both a theatrical
and teaser trailer, as well as the film plot.
Plot of film
40 days of the journey of an individual survivor in the zombie apocalypse.
My film will feature the main character throughout the film and focus on him trying to survive as the last survivor of a virus that has
swept across the country.
The narrative will focus on Jason Blake, once an ordinary working class man who lived with his family in London. After losing his loved
ones from a deadly virus that has spread through Great Britain, he struggles to adjust to the new environment he has been thrown in
which will test him mentally and physically.
After weeks of scavenging and trying to survive in a deserted London, Jason keeps traveling North on foot towards Scotland which is
dubbed ‘the last hope’ ‘paradise’. On his travels he encounters many obstacles such as ‘the infected’ and more importantly gangs of
remaining humans, giving him a terrible realization that he is not alone.
Themes the film will focus on:
The nature of survival and moralities between humans
Survival of the fittest
Loneliness and isolation
Sanity
Hope
Is human extinction inevitable?
Film will question religion
