The horror film ‘Women in black’ is
one of the main influences for our film
opening. This is because we will be
using similar elements from the film.
For example:
• Nursery rhyme music in the
background while the children are
in the scene.
• The costumes that the three
children at the start of women in
black will be the same vintage
style.
• Will we also include the fear of the
unknown.
The opening credits for ‘Se7en’
has influenced our film opening
for many reasons. These are:
• The use of dark lighting
• Camera shots cutting straight
from one shot to another
• Similar speed and style of
titles
• We are also using a
book/diary as a main object in
the opening
• Also fade to blacks will be
included.
American horror story has
influenced our opening because
we will be using the same order of
titles. For example:

1. Actor
2. Actor
3. Actor
4. With
5. And
6. Created by
7. Title
Also the titles will fade to
black, flicker and be white just
like American horror story titles.
