P22 Other Project Events 01-2022 LEARNING LITERATURE AT THE CINEMA- After the mobility in
Croatia, this activity will contribute to sustaining project results and
goals in the long term. The goal is to make this activity part of the
regular extracurricular activities of all partner schools. Once a
month or once every two months, teachers should arrange to go to
the cinema with the students. The activity will last throughout the
project cycle with the aim of developing media literacy among
students. In consultation with the local cinematographer, it is
recommended that films are an adaptation of literary works. After
watching the films, teachers should organize a class of analysis
and discussion of the literary works and the film with the students.
If teachers are not able to take students to the cinema, film
adaptations of literary works can be presented.
STORY OF CHRIS MCCANDLESS- students will read first chapter
of Jon Krauker novel
"Into the Wild" and analyse with teachers genre characteristics.
Teachers then give students
a small index card on which to record his or her predictions about
likely events that will occur
as the story unfolds. He or she would then collect the cards, seal
them all in a "time capsule"
(or envelope), and open up after reading and discussing the entire
text to how accurate their
predictions were. Students' index cards will be used in eTwinning

event "Story of Chris
McCandles"- students from all partners countries will read their
predictions and make a
fiction story of it. Teachers can suggest students to watch movie
"Into to Wild" and create
quiz on an eTwinning for their partners' peers after the movie
watching.
BOOK INFLUENCER- the activity will continue throughout the
project cycle as a result of all
transnational mobilities held. Students should choose the medium
of social networks
(Instagram, Facebook, Tik-Tok, Twitter, YouTube) and promote
books to attract as many
followers as possible. It is advisable for this activity to follow the
activities of the "Reading
Club" and learning literature in the cinema.
The goal of the activity is to include student use of social networks
for learning purposes.
The goal is to motivate students to read and research literary works
and to seek marketing
and entrepreneurial solutions for how to popularize them.
The activity should also contribute to the sustainability of the
project results and become a
permanent extracurricular activity for students in all partner
schools.
DRAMATIZATION- A lost letter, by Ion Luca Caragiale-This is a
variant of the role play, a
method that capitalizes on the techniques of the dramatic art
(dialogue, gesture, mimicry,

pantomime, decoration, etc.). By this we aim to understand and fix
some aspects related to
the literary work, on an intense affective background, the correct
and appropriate use of the
language in situations of monologue and dialogue. Dramatization
consists in the
transposition into a dialogical action of the facts, events, aspects
studied in the literature.
WORLD BOOK AND COPYRIGHT DAY- activity will be organised
on eTwinning and will include wider public of teachers and
students. In all partner's schools World Book and Copyright Day
will be organised with activities: students and teachers will choose
one
favorite book as a present to give others. They will explain why
they chose that book.
Schools will organise online or live meeting with one literature
books translator of their
choice in which he/her will talk about his/her work and copyright
legalstive. Teachers will
inform students about UNSECO's "Creative Cities" and all schools
will make "Creative City
development plan" with students for their cities in which they will try
to compete in becoming
"Creative City" (teachers of geography, history, tourism and
gastronomy will be included in
this activity).
SCIENCE AND LITERATURE- Students read the novel "The
strange case of drJekyll and
Mr Hyde" and watch also the movie. After that, each school will

arrange a debate
competition in English on the topic " Science must have no limits"
with pro and con teams
and a group of Judges. The competition will be filmed and posted
on the TwinSpace.The
debate competition rules are the following: The students do not
know in advance the specific
topic and the team. As soon as the teams are formed and assigned
their task, the students
will have 15 m to arrange their performanceThe teams are made
up of 4 students. Each
student of the team has to talk for minimum 1 m to max one minute
and a half. The proteam
starts the competition. After that there will be question crossed and
the conclusion.
The Judge will follow an evaluation sheet.The video will be posted
on the TwinSpace. So the
students will watch the other partners' video and will comment on
the forum of the project
Twinspace.
MAKING A SCREENPLAY AFTER THE WORK- this activity,
through mimic and gesture,
develops creativity in students and it is recommended for
methodical work with students with
disabilities. "Desculț in parc" by Neil Simon- The stage is a method
of receiving and fixing
the message of a literary work. It's fun, comforting, it's a game.
Students enter the
characters' skin using mimicry, gestures. Students must use the

spoken language correctly
and properly. Activity is created as a extra-curricula activity for
enrichment of the literature
and drama learning.
LITERATURE FAIR- final project activity for the students in all
schools. Students will make
"literature spots" in the school halls or classrooms and present
activities they engaged and
liked the most during the project lifetime. Activity will be named
"CALL for the books!" and
can be shared as an eTwinning video conference in which students
will communicate and
present works from their activities to the peers of other schools. It
is advisable that this activity is followed by local or regional media
and with the invitations to the other local or
regional schools.
Activity should contribute to the development of promotion,
marketing and social
entrepreneurship skills as well as creativity and decision-making
skills. Video of the activity
will be posted on the project's TwinSpace page and on schools'
websites.
"CALL for books" can be an activity that will take place regularly at
the end of teaching years
to promote best literary and language learning practices.
BOOKZINE- materials from the project activities will be published
in the student's bookzine.
Students will design the format of an online book magazine and
publish the content of

workshops, cinema activities, library activities. It is advisable for
teachers to direct students

promotion skills, collaboration skills, topicality and decision-making
skills. The activity will
also contribute to the sustainability of project results, as editing and
writing of the student
bookzine will become a permanent extracurricular activity in all
schools after the closing of
