WhatdifferencewithKirson&PaltiMethod?
ECCT
 Capacitive
 Completely Non-contact
 Penetrating through air layers
 Low voltages (<30V)
 Good for lung and colon-rectum CA and
working to almost all type of cancers
including lymphoma and leukemia
NovaCure
 Quasi-Electrostatic (quasi-conductive)
 Using high-conductive ceramic
electrodes with direct contact to skin
 No-air layer permitted
 High voltages (>50V)
 Not possible for air-contact cancerous
mass (in fact work only to brain cancer)

CLOSURE
 Open innovation and strategic partnership provide benefit
for SMEs to upgrade its capacity in innovation, but the
cooperation must stem from supply and demand
relationship (win-win solution), otherwise it will not work.
 Technology development and utilization/commercialization
must continue in parallel, otherwise the innovation will not
sustain.
 Technology business requires a completely different state
of mind, i.e. taking risk, which usually researchers do not
have; researchers need partners to commercialize their
technology.
 Funding is not always an issue for a researcher to
innovate, but cooperation is.
