Water has many unique physical properties that were discussed in class. Students must design and conduct an experiment to test the validity of one of these claims about water. The initial experiment design must be approved before experimentation. Students will collect data outside of class and equipment is limited but includes samples of water, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, vinegar and glycerin. A completed paper copy of the experiment is due with a signed cover sheet.

Spark is the widely used ETL tool for processing, indexing and ingesting data to serving stack for search. Milvus is the production-ready open-source vector database. In this talk we will show how to use Spark to process unstructured data to extract vector representations, and push the vectors to Milvus vector database for search serving.
