"The best conferences I've been to are those that supercharged my work once I was back in front of the computer on the next day.
One would think that what inspired me were the talks but actually most of the learning happened while having lunch, standing around the hallways or enjoying a drink at the pub. It was in those moments when I got to chat with people who were facing the same issues I was -- and if I was lucky, I even got the chance to chat with one of the speakers face-to-face...
So how about we miss the talk and go right into the face-to-face chat?"
- Gisele Navarro
In this 40-minute AMA session, Gisele recreated those light-bulb moments, packed with practical tips that attendees would be able to apply as soon as they got back to work the next day after the conference.
Neil shared practical tips on how to take good photographs, what makes a strong good photograph for sharing, and how to build your brand and audience on Instagram.

When you are creating a visuals and want them to look as snazzy as possible, there is a lot you can do to make your images shine with the brightness and glory of a thousand suns. You can add beautiful background textures, have perfectly complimentary fonts, or play with the orientation of your text in different ways. Even so, if you are not careful your text can look boring. Another way to make your presentation slides look spiffy (and certainly not boring) is to change up the way you display your text. Here are ten clever and easy to implement design tips for mixing up your text display and maximizing your design potential.

Getting Sacked, Van Halen, M & M's and Better Digital Marketing Decisions Wayne Barker
Humans dont really like to make decisions. Decisions are tough. There is often too much at stake. Humans make bad decisions all the time.
But not making a decision at all is even worse.
At the latest Drink Digital meetup I looked at how I had used the WRAP framework to make better decisions at work and how we are passing on the good decisions that we make around the team.
When individuals are making better decisions at work and sharing them with team mate to make their life easier then the whole business is making better decisions.
Make better decisions, easier and across the board.
A perfect future is not in the cards. Nothing is perfect, with the possible exception of how we delude ourselves into thinking that only doing things perfectly can work. Don't let the be the enemy of the good.
You can’t take creative people, stick them in sterile, lowest cost per square foot spaces, and expect them to achieve the best work of their lives. Atlassian has been focussing heavily on the design of their work spaces, to create flexible, engaging, delightful, and yes productive places for their teams to work in.
Hear Alastair Simpson from Atlassian talk about the creative spaces they’ve designed that have scaled with the changing needs of their teams and what they’ve learned about the benefits of creating better environments through thoughtful design.

Marvin belicht de uitdagingen die er zijn om echt aansluiting te vinden op die markt van non-endemic advertising.
Putting the SPARK into Virtual Training.pptxCynthia Clay
This 60-minute webinar, sponsored by Adobe, was delivered for the Training Mag Network. It explored the five elements of SPARK: Storytelling, Purpose, Action, Relationships, and Kudos. Knowing how to tell a well-structured story is key to building long-term memory. Stating a clear purpose that doesn't take away from the discovery learning process is critical. Ensuring that people move from theory to practical application is imperative. Creating strong social learning is the key to commitment and engagement. Validating and affirming participants' comments is the way to create a positive learning environment.

Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.
