This document summarizes the results of an IPv6 readiness benchmarking study of government websites across several European countries. It found that while IPv6 adoption is still low overall, levels were highest among national government ministries and agencies, ranging from 35.7-81.8% for web servers, 64.3-72.7% for DNS servers, and 33.3-57.1% for mail servers. Regional and local government websites generally had lower IPv6 support. The Czech Republic in particular saw significant gains in IPv6 adoption among public sector websites compared to the national average, showing that government policies can effectively promote deployment.
