This document discusses the rollout and implementation of the i-MTL (Mother Tongue Languages) portal in schools. It found that both students and teachers agreed that the portal makes MTL lessons more engaging, interesting, and helps students feel more confident speaking in their MTL. It also helps teachers conduct more student-centered activities and use formative assessment. The portal was rolled out across different grades between 2012-2014. Support for teachers included workshops, training videos and school visits to share best practices. Both students and teachers found the portal to be user-friendly.
