This paper examines the inequalities that African Americans with mental disabilities face in their
daily lives. It argues that this constituency receives inadequate medical access and services,
different treatment of their disability, and is highly stigmatized as compared to Whites. In order to
support my argument I examine public attitudes towards blacks with mental illnesses, their
depiction in the media, and contemporary issues related to the topic. I draw on specific course
concepts such as ableism and use an intersectional approach to show that African Americans are not
given the proper attention they deserve. In the first section of this paper, I examine public attitudes
toward African Americans who have mental disabilities and how this affects their treatment
options. In the second section, I explore the limited portrayal of blacks with mental disabilities in
television and film. In the third and final section, I discuss recent issues regarding the lack of Black

to follow due to her canary yellow shirt as bright as the sun beaming down on us.
Once we arrived to the ten person boat floating back and forth next to the dock, we were helped

Sexual Assault Of A 6 Year Old Boy Essay
On April 5th, 2016 at approximately 10:00 AM, I, Investigator James Poffel was assigned a case
in reference to a possible sexual assault of a 6 year old boy, Kevin Baptiste. The reporting party
was Pershing Elementary School staff. Officer Will Sanders #549 was dispatched to Pershing
Elementary, located at 301 N. 54th St., in reference to making contact with Karen Watkins and
Shannon Johnson. Once on the scene, Officer Sanders was informed by Ms. Watkins that Kevin
disclosed to the school counselor, Shannon Johnson that he sucked on his mother, Taren Harvey
s, privates. Ms. Watkins originally called Kids Space to try and figure out the proper procedure
since they have had Darkness to Light Training provided by Kids Space in the past. Officer
Sanders then spoke with Ms. Johnson, who stated three boys were brought to speak with her
over a squabble they had on the playground. The boys were Ty Looney, Kevin Baptiste, and
Malcom Lewis. They were all arguing, so Ms. Johnson separated them and spoke with them one
at a time. Ty told Ms. Johnson that they were all arguing because Kevin called Ty and Malcom
gay and said they sucked each other s privates . Malcom said the same thing as Ty. Lastly, she
called in Kevin and he immediately started saying he did not do anything. Kevin said he was
arguing with the other boys because they told Kevin that he sucked on his mama s privates . DHS

First, they need to build out their IT team. Currently, they only have one employee focusing on
data analysis. If the historical data they have isn t accurate then the CRM software is useless. So
they first need to get through the two years worth or data they have and verify its accuracy. They
also need to make sure that the data they collect in the future is reliable accurate information. In
the past there were not any checks and balances on data accuracy. They need to have a system
that can gather the information automatically so that the risk of human error is eliminated or at
least reduced. Secondly, they need to take a look at the current systems they are using and make
sure they can integrate everything into CRM. Some of the applications they use are custom
developed so it may take some work on those systems in order to make them integrate with CRM.
Implementing CRM is a very large project that can take many years to fully integrate. Since IT isn
t Carnival s core competence they need to bring in a consultant so they can look into Carnival s
current IS infrastructure and make recommendations as to what Carnival can do to prepare for
CRM. One thing they will definitely have to develop is a test environment. As they implement
CRM across their current applications, they need to be able to work out the problems in a test
