3. Getting Started with ILoveHits
To get started just click the “Sign Up Today!” button at the ILoveHits login page:
http://ilovehits.com and you will be directed to the page to create your account:
Enter the information required in each of the boxes provided, check the box to say that you
agree to the ILoveHits terms of service and click “Register Me!”
4. The next page(s) you see should contain special offers for new members so be sure to check
them out:
There is a link at the bottom of each page to take you to the next page.
5. Next you will be taken to a page with reminds you to check your email to verify your account.
You MUST do this next, so go to your inbox and look for an email from ILoveHits with the
subject line: “Your Activation Link for ILoveHits”
The email will look something like this:
To activate your account, click on the long link in the email and it will open up a new tab in
your browser to inform you that your address has been verified.
That page looks like this:
If you are unable to click the link in your email then just copy and paste it into your browser
and you will be taken to the same page as shown above.
6. Just click the final line on the page to login to your account for the first time.
The login page looks like this:
Just enter your username and password in the boxes provided and press the “Login” button.
Note that there is also a link for you to click in case you have lost your password.
Clicking on that link takes you to this page where you will be able to have a new password
sent to you by email:
7. When you login you are going to see some login offers. These change from time to time so
make sure you take a good look at them to see if they are a good deal for you.
This is an example of the sort of offer you can expect to see when you first login to ILoveHits:

8. Members' Home Page.
After the offer you will be taken to the members' locker room which looks like this:
The page has an extensive navigation menu which is found on the left hand side so let's take
some time to get to know ILoveHits.
You navigate around the site by clicking on the tabs shown in the navigation menu, so we will
now look at each one in turn.
Locker Room:
The Locker Room is the page you are currently on, so
whenever you want to get back here then just click on the
“Locker Room” button.
Start Surfing:
The “Start Surfing” tab takes you to the main part of the
site where you get to look at the adverts placed by other

As you view pages you will earn credits which can be used to get your own sites shown to
other members. Of course you can also buy credits instead of, or in addition to, surfing for
credits.
Click on the “Start Surfing” tab in the navigation menu, you will be taken to the main surf
screen:
The main image on the page is the site which is being advertised – in this case a page
promoting Click Track Profit.
You move through the sites by clicking on the surf icons seen at the top left of the page after
the counter (seen in the bottom image) has completed counting down and has been replaced
with the word “GO!”.
Just click on the image which matches image shown on the left and a new page will appear.
As you keep surfing in this manner you will see the pages being advertised by other members
and also earn credits to ensure that your page or pages are seen by other IloveHits members.
10. Let's take a closer look at the main header area to discover some more important information
it contains:
When the timer has counted down you see the surf icons at the left of the screen. To the right
you will see how many credits you earned for the last click and underneath that is an example
of a text advert.
Next you will see a pair of red glasses under the word “Go.” These are the “nerd surfing”
glasses which turn green when you are surfing at least four of the eight “nerd surf” traffic
exchanges at the same time. The advantage of nerd surfing is that you earn credits at a faster
rate than you would when you only surf one traffic exchange at a time.

In order to nerd surf and to allow your credits to be tracked properly, then you must also be a
member of Click Track Profit (CTP).
To the far right of the page is a banner advert and underneath it are five clickable links which
will allow you to:

see how many private messages you have
buy credits and
bookmark the current site being advertised.
11. While the timer is counting down the surf bar will look like this:
The only difference is that the surf icons have been replaced with information which tells you:

the total number of credits you have in your account
a clickable link for you to assign those credits
the number of credits you have earned today
the number of pages you have viewed today
On the right hand side of the page you will see the ILoveHits
member chat area.
To 'chat' with other members then just enter what you want to
say in the dialogue box and press the “Post!” button. Your
message will then appear directly underneath, alongside a
picture of you if you have a picture linked to your member
profile.
When you post a message in the member chat area it will be
seen by all members who are currently surfing and who have
the chatbox open. (If you don't want to use the chat function
then you can press the “close” link to remove it.
You will also see a clock in the top left hand corner of the chat
box area. This is the current server time of the ILH server, so it
may or may not coincide with the local time where you are.
Also you will notice that the name of the person chatting is a
clickable link.
Hover your cursor over the link and you will find out some more
information about this person.
Click on the member's name and you will be taken to their
member home page.
The last main part of the page is the footer area:
Here you will see social share information to allow you to share the current site being
advertised on the social platforms listed.
12. Brackets:
Each day that you surf, you are automatically entered into a 'Bracket Surfing' contest against
one other ILH member. All you have to do is to surf more pages than your bracket surf
opponent to win credits. The amount of credits you win are based on the amount of pages
you surfed that day.
Credits are automatically added to your account if you win. You will receive a message in your
Private Message [PM] box to tell you whether you won your bracket or not.
13. Buy Credits:
At ILoveHits you can buy the site of the week and credits to get your site shown to other
members.
The start page is the first page members see when surfing and is one of the most sought-after
spots for advertisers.
Just click on the “Buy Credits” tab to see the current deals on offer:
14. Upgrade:
The next tab is the “Upgrade” tab which allows you to upgrade your account from the free
membership level.
There are a number of advantages in choosing to upgrade and the main ones are shown on
the page when you click the link.

15. Message Box:
This is where you can check out the messages sent between you and other ILH members.
You will be able to send messages to other people and read messages you have received
16. To read a message simply click on the subject line and it will open up for you:
There are buttons to either remove the message when you read it or to reply to the sender if
you want to.
To send a messagee just click on the “Send Message” link and it will open up the following
screen for you:
17. Now either select a member of your downline from the drop-down menu or enter their ILH
username in the box provided.
Then give your message a subject line, enter your message in the message box and then
press “Send Message” when you have finished.
My Websites:
This is where you add the websites you wish to promote to other ILH members.
Free members can add up to three websites.
The page looks like this:
18. The first site you entered when you signed up to ILH will already be entered here and to get it
shown to other members then you must first press the “Click here to verify this site” link.
You will be taken to a new page where you will see whether the page passes all the checks to
ensure it can be viewed on ILH. Now when you return to “My Websites” you will see this:
To add a new site then press the link under the site you have just activated:
Just give the new site a name, enter the URL, press “Add” and you are done.
My Banners:
Adding banners is similar to adding websites to ILH:
This time you give your banner a name, enter the URL to display the banner and the URL you
want people to see when they click and banner and then just hit “Add Banner.”
Once you have added a banner you will be able to assign views (impressions) to the banner
or convert credits to banner views.
19. My Text Links
This is where you add text adverts to your site:
Click on “Add a new link here” and you will see this page:
Now give the link a name, enter the URL you want people to go to when they click on the text
and then enter the text in the final box.
Once you have done that you can repeat the process to add further text ads.
Now use the “Assign” tab to assign credits or impressions to your text link(s)
If you choose to assign credits then each credit will give you 50 text link impressions (views)
and if you choose to assign impressions then the number of impressions available to you will
be shown on the page.
You can also move impressions from one text ad to another.
The page to do all this looks like this:
21. This page will tell you how many total credits you have available to you and you just enter the
number of credits you want to assign to your site(s) in the box marked “Assign.”
If you have more than one site you will be able to transfer credits from one site to another and
you also have the option of buying credits.
Commissions:
This gives you details of the commission payments you have earned:
Don't forget to add your Paypal email address so that payments can be made to you. If you
have not already done this then just click on the blue text in the page to do so.
Your ILH Profile Page:
This page contains two tabs: Profile and Settings.

You can see yours by clicking on the “view it” link on the “edit profile” page.
The script which is shown in the second box allows you to put a small banner on your website
which will take visitors to your ILH profile page.
The “Settings” tab is where you can enter your personal information onto the site:

• adding a mailing address if you want to do so
• changing your email address
• changing your password
• opting in or out of email notifications
• adding your CTP username (essential to earn your nerd surfing bonus credits) and
• adding your PayPal email address (essential to get your commission payments.)

When you refer people to IloveHits their details will be shown here.
It also contains your referral link – the link you want to promote so that people join ILH under
you - and the details of the person who referred you to IloveHits.

The TE Toolbox page is a link for a very useful free resource which allows you to track your
traffic exchange advertising and add multiple sites to a single 'rotator' so that a number of
different sites can be advertised using just a single URL.

28. Traffic Exchange Don'ts
Just like everything else in life, there are right ways and wrong ways to use traffic exchanges.
Here are some things to avoid when using traffic exchanges:
• DON'T use standard affiliate pages (DUSAP) – You want to use either a squeeze
or a splash page to get visitors to click-thru to your site.
Surfers generally only have around 6-15 seconds to view your ad so make sure it really
stands out from the rest.
Don't cluter it up with 15 paragraphs of text because this will just ensure that it gets ignored.
If you don't know or don't have any splash or squeeze pages, we recommend AdKreator - the

• DON'T sell to people – People are surfing for the exact same reason you are...to
get their site seen by other people. Therefore don't try to sell directly from the page people are
viewing. Instead use a pre-sale splash/squeeze page to get the surfer interested in your

• DON'T pitch other members in the surf chat – Use the chat to socialize with
other surfers because you may make a new friend or two which could even lead
to a great business opportunity down the line. If the people chatting like you,
they have the option to go to your profile on the site and see what you are
promoting there.
• DON'T promote every get rich quick scheme there is - Surfers remember what
people promote, and if you are seen as a person that is just hocking the next
issue of crap to them, you will quickly lose your credibility in traffic exchanges.
• DON'T always promote to your list – The people on your list subscribed because
they like who you are or the product you are promoting. Don't try to sell them
everything under the sun. You will lose a lot of customers that way. Instead why
not provide them with quality content?
29. Traffic Exchange Do's
Now that you know what not to do, it is important to realize what you should do to in order to
make the most out of your traffic exchange advertising:
• DO use splash/squeeze pages – You need to be using a page that loads quickly
and is appealing to the eyes. If you don't know how to build your own splash/squeeze pages,

• DO brand yourself – I always recommend at a minimum putting your name and
picture/logo on everything you promote. You want people to remember who you
are and what you are about.
• DO have a budget – It is very easy to spend a lot in this business. You need to
have a budget to start with and as you make more and more money online, you
will be able to increase your budget and earnings. Don't know where to start

• DO get social – Get into the chats on the exchanges and let people know who
you are and what you are about. Once again this plays well with the part of branding
yourself.
• DO build your relationship with your list – Building a list of people who trust and

• DO be different – You have to stand out from the crowd in this business. There
are a lot of people in traffic exchanges promoting the same thing. What sets you

• DO track your results – You always want to track which exchanges are bringing
