9. Step by Step Explanation of how the
Machine Works
1st when we drop the input force (PET)
it tugs on the string. Since the string is
connected to a series of pulleys it
eventually pulls the small car up the ramp.
When the car is going up rolling friction is
in motion. A combination of the rolling
friction and pulleys allows the 1 newton
weight pull up 3 newtons.

10. Justification of Design
Why did you create the design you did
with the machines you did?
I realized that making a simple machine
was actually simple since I used 2 of the
easiest simple machines so that when we
would create the actual machine it would
not be much of a hassle completing it on
time.
