MUSLIM POSITIO

               :
For this work we used the opinion of a sheik named
Aly Abdoune, who states that Islam encourages any
scientific breakthrough that will benefit humans, but Islam
condemns therapeutic cloning. Human beings are not
created in pieces and can’t be subjected to experiments.

Every creature is God's work, which installs souls
into bodies, not pieces, but as a whole.
MUSLIM POSITIO

             :
So, according to Islam, cloning humans is murder, it
is disrespectful to the next, is a violation of the
basic right to life where heredity is not respected.

The sheik Abdoune concludes that creating a
machine to assist in maintaining the life of a
creature is something encouraged by Islam.
MUSLIM POSITIO
For Muslims, scientists destroy embryos and malformed
babies in this process.
JUDAISM POSITI
Judaism holds a fairly positive view of cloning. One of the
fundamental principles of Judaism is that God wants human
                :
beings to use all of their capacities to improve the health of
others.

Therapeutic cloning, whereby scientists extract stem cells
from embryos, could lead to cures for diseases, most
Jewish believe it should be allowed.

However, reproductive cloning, raises deep concerns
in Jewish thought.
CATHOLIC POSITO
The Catholic Church condemns human cloning and
             :
stem cell research using human embryos.

According to the Vatican, life begins at the moment
of conception.

Besides, Human beings are created in the image of God
and, therefore, are unique.
CATHOLIC POSITIO
Statement from D. José Policarpo
About cloning, what is your view on the
current progress of science?

D. José Policarpo - I think doctors and
politicians have said, "Stop while you
can.“
Science does not have absolute rights
to make, in terms of research, all
that the dynamism of research
allows. The human being is a sacred
thing. So this is my cry:
        "Stop while you can"
CONCLUSION
Like the catholic Church, also other religions scattered across
the globe present a nefarious vision about the process of
                    :
human cloning, although every religion has its principles, laws
and characteristics, it is possible to identify some doctrinal
principles common and different between them, such
as:
• cloning would destroy the unity of marriage and parenthood.
• cloning subjects a person to be treated as an object.

In the other hand, we can see that only judaism defends
therapeutic cloning.
