1. Strategy to be used at hui session

Options provided are:
amazing; ok; funny;
sad and sick. Will
work with students to
develop other
options.

2. Non-verbal student adds his own favourite visual
(the end of lesson clock – which he loves!)

3. Student chooses ‘other visual’ and tells
class she enjoyed “lunch”

4. Student chooses “sad” visual – we had recently
learnt of the death of a student who left last
year.

5. Student uses visuals to organise her thoughts
and convey them to class verbally and visually.
Students listening

information about

visual and oral
form.
