sun and asked the Sun God if he was his father.He said yes everything that Clymene told you is true.
The sun god wanted to prove that he was his father so anything that the son wish he shall it. Phaethon
asked to take the place of the sun god just for one day. let me drive your chariot. This is the only thing
the Sun God had to refuse because no mortal can drive his chariot also, no other god can drive but
himself.Yet Phaethon got in the chariot anyway and die on by falling to his death while he was on fire

femininity whilst exploring the extent in which morality is pushed to gain power. Imbedded in the
storyline of the play is an unconventional expression of gender which can be further explored through
the feminist critical perspective lens. The feminist critical perspective challenges the common
viewpoint by re evaluating texts and highlighting patriarchal ideas of gender. Therefore the play can
