Open your browser

Type in Dropbox.com

When you
arrive at
Dropbox. Com

This is
what
you will
see…

Click sign-up

Then fill this one up

Enter your name

Your last name /surname

And your email address

And a password

Remember:
Use a strong
password

This will
ensure the
security of
your
Dropbox

Don’t forget to click this box

Then click Sign up

If your
registration
is
successful

You will be
directed to
Web
Interface of
your
Dropbox

It looks
something
like this

Now here’s how to
share files

Click “Share a folder” button

You will be asked if you
want to create

Or share an existing folder

If you want to create a
new folder

Choose the first one

Then click “Next”

Give your folder a name

Then click “next”

You will see a page with
two text fields

The top field

Is where you put the
email address

of the
person you
want to
share your
folder with

The bottom field

is for an
optional
message
to the
person

Fill out the text field

Enter the e-mail addresses of
your recipients

Then click “Share folder”

You have successfully
created and shared a
folder!

Here it is

It’s now time to upload
some files in your folder

How to load files?

There are
two ways on
how to do it

Click the folder

You will see this

Click “Upload”

Then click “Choose files”

Highlight the files that you
wish to copy

Then click “Open”

Then wait

till everything gets
uploaded

Don’t worry!

It won’t take too long

You’ll know
when it has finished
uploading

When they’ve looked like
this already

Click “Done”

Then you will be able to
see the files

in the shared folder

Another way of loading file
to your folder

Is to use
the Drag and
Drop Method

Here’s how to do it

While your dropbox is
open, click the start menu

Then locate the files you want to
upload

Left click
on the file
using your
mouse

Then drag and drop the
file to dropbox

This will show that the files
are uploading

Once uploading is finished,
you will see a check mark

That means your files are
synced

You can also use
Dropbox’s desktop
application

To download it, go back to
Dropbox.com’s homepage

and click “download”

Then it will start uploading

Click the installer

Click “Run”

Then dropbox will start
downloading

After the downloading
and installation

A menu will pop up

Enter your e-mail address

and your password

Then click sign in

There will be a message
that will inform you

That you have
successfully installed
Dropbox

Click “Open my Dropbox
folder”

It is going to create a
folder on your desktop

To transfer files to your
dropbox

You can just
drag and
drop a file

Just like you did earlier

Or you can also copy
paste

from one folder to your
dropbox folder

Here’s how to do it

Click the folder on your
desktop

Where the file you want to
transfer is located

Right click on the file

Click “Copy”

Then right click on your
dropbox folder

Then click “Paste”

There goes the file you
transferred

Easy right?

So go ahead and
don’t be afraid

that you will lose important
files on your desktop

Because you have one big
back up to help you
