The document discusses several photos considered for a double page magazine spread. The first photo of a model yelling into a paper megaphone was rejected because it did not stretch across both pages well in Photoshop. A second photo of the model with flowing hair was also rejected for not spanning both pages. A third photo of the model throwing paper was selected because the flying pages related well to the magazine's theme and could be manipulated to look like pages from a book. The photo was edited on a phone app before being imported into Photoshop to expand across the double page spread.
The document discusses three potential images for a double page magazine spread. The first image of a model yelling into a paper megaphone was rejected because it did not stretch across both pages well in Photoshop. The second image of the model with flowing hair also did not work across both pages. The third image of the model throwing paper was selected for the spread because the pose was powerful and the floating pages would relate well to the magazine's theme. The photographer used apps to edit the selected image before importing it into Photoshop to expand it across the double page spread.
Through creating a magazine for their coursework, the author learned to use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Blogger, and how to take better photos with an SLR camera. In Photoshop, they used tools like the clone stamp, magic wand, and eraser to edit photos. They found InDesign reasonably easy to use to construct their magazine. Blogger was initially complicated but they learned to set up blog posts and design. Using an SLR camera helped improve photo quality but they still struggled with lighting and shadows.

Movement photography uses two techniques: keeping the camera still to capture movement blur, requiring a slow shutter speed; or moving the camera itself. The proper shutter speed depends on the moving subject and available light. The author took photos of stationary objects like a keyboard by moving the camera, but the quality suffered from time constraints and inexperience. Future attempts will focus on more interesting subjects with better planning.
The proposal discusses creating multiple exposure images and high speed photographs. For the multiple exposures, various contrasting subjects will be combined in Photoshop. High speed shots will freeze motion using a fast shutter speed to capture water or darts. Most images will be taken at home for lighting and equipment control, though some may be taken on campus. Multiple exposures will be created by individually photographing subjects and combining them in Photoshop. High speed shots will use a narrow aperture and fast shutter speed of 1/8000 to stop motion. The goal is to experiment creatively with techniques the photographer has not tried before to produce interesting images and challenge their abilities.
The document discusses what the author learned about various technologies through creating a production project. The author used a camera, Photoshop, the internet, and lighting equipment that they were initially unfamiliar with. They learned how to use these technologies by watching tutorials online. Specifically, the author experimented with different lighting setups both indoors and outdoors to see how lighting affected images. They also used Photoshop to edit photos by removing blemishes, adding filters and text. Through completing this project, the author gained experience and confidence using various technological tools that were essential to the success of their production.

Birds have lightweight skeletons with strong, hollow bones that allow for powerful wing muscles to attach. Their bills are toothless and made of keratin, and their heads are thin and flat. Their powerful pectoral muscles in their chest compose 33% of their weight and are used to raise and lower their wings. This low center of gravity gives birds stability in flight. Birds have strong, four-chambered hearts and efficient respiratory and digestive systems adapted for flight. Their senses, such as sharp eyesight and hearing, help birds navigate and find food.

WSO2Con ASIA 2016: Enterprise Platform for Digital TransformationWSO2
Enterprises are looking for digital transformation today by making it the highest priority in every CxO and enterprise architect’s task list. This session answers the questions what is digital transformation and how do we get there in a business and technical manner. In addition to sharing a few success stories from his experiences, Asanka will also explain
The pattern of building a platform or platform of platforms
How to evangelize the platform

The document discusses the Toyota Kata method of process improvement using Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycles. It provides guidance on how to effectively use a PDCA Cycles Record to plan and document experiments toward a target condition. Key points include planning experiments to address obstacles, making predictions, collecting data, reflecting on learnings, and using insights from one cycle to plan the next step. Conducting frequent, rapid, low-risk experiments in this scientific manner can help drive organizational cultural change over time.
The document contains bills of materials (BOMs) and process routings for a cookie company. The BOM details all components that make up the final assembly, their costs, and suppliers. The process routing outlines the production steps, work centers used, setup and run times. A cost roll up is provided for the BOM and process routing, showing the total cost per batch is $2.24. The document also lists various overhead costs and potential cost reduction opportunities for the cookie company to consider.
This document contains Hatem Lefi's portfolio as an Aerospace Design Engineer. It describes his work on designing aircraft cabin passenger seats, including the concept definition and design process. It provides examples of seat configurations for different aircraft types and airlines. The final pages include references and screenshots of completed seat installations for various commercial airline customers.
This document provides a theoretical analysis of the passenger handling process from when a passenger enters an airport terminal until they exit, linking it to the value chains of airports and airlines. It establishes the concepts of Porter's value chain and applies it to analyze the aviation industry value chain, airport value chain, and airline value chain. Empirical research is cited to support the passenger handling process as occurring where passengers interact with ground staff within the airport and airline value chains. The document concludes that further optimizing existing passenger processes will provide limited improvements, and that deploying mobile technologies for check-in/boarding, baggage handling, and flight disruption management could better improve value for passengers, airlines, and airports.

9. 4. RECONSTRUCTTHE ZENITH
I don’t like to leave a big hole in the zenith (when you look up the sky) and found the perfect
Photoshop plugin to fix it: Super Cubic
I won’t details the steps in this deck as everything is perfectly explained on their website:
http://www.superrune.com/tools/supercubic.php
10. 5. PUBLISH
If you want to publish your pano in Facebook, you may have to fix the metadata to have it
recognised as a 360 by Facebook. In that case you can use a great and easy tool called Exif Fixer:
http://panoramaphotographer.com/software/exiffixer/
Since Facebook compresses a lot I personnaly prefer to have my panos hosted by 3rd parties like
360cities, but my latest favorite is Kuula as it includes the possibility to create little planets.
Don’t hesitate to visit my Kuula profile: https://kuula.co/profile/bemol73
11. THANKYOU!
